Losing yet again to "Unsure," Rep. Steve Stockman released a poll that pitted only him against Sen. John Cornyn. Fewer than 800 were polled and Stockman finished behind "Unsure." These results mimic the results in a poll done by the Republican Leadership Council in his own district where he finished fourth, behind "Unsure." In that poll of 660 in Stockman's CD 36, all of the candidates for US Senate were available for selection, and Dwayne Stovall, as he has in ten straw polls to date, beat Cornyn and Stockman.
Stovall said in a statement: "Steve Stockman imagines that he's the only person running against John Cornyn, but the reality is that he's lost in every straw poll to date and he lost in this poll as well. He is not the candidate to beat John Cornyn. I am the only candidate to beat John Cornyn."
"The core problem is that Stockman has no organization. The man from Michigan hasn't traveled the State of Texas to earn the vote of Texans, and frankly, I hear that at almost every campaign stop where Stockman is mentioned that his behavior offends Texans. It's bad enough that John Cornyn takes our votes for granted, but Stockman simply has no right to expect our votes."
"Stockman said in a statement to Human Events that he thought he could 'find all the Cruz people and turn them out.' It might help him if he'd actually taken the time to meet the voters who helped Ted Cruz win his election."
"Texans want a Texan who will listen to them. Neither Stockman nor Cornyn do that. Infact, Stockman didn't listen to voters in his district when he had the opportunity to join Louie Gohmert and vote against Boehner to retain him as Speaker of the House.

“Unsure” must be stopped. Let’s dig up all the dirt we can on him/her.
Texans, support Steve Stockman. He’s one of the few people in DC who cares about the truth and isn’t afraid to speak it plainly.
I don’t make many endorsements, but Stockman is DEFINITELY worth endorsing.
Let’s first make sure Cornyn gets under 50%, that is the key issue.
OK, let me back up. I have not spoken to Stovall and don’t know anything about him. Texans, ask Stovall what HE would do if Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse wanted to present legal evidence of crimes committed to get Obama into office. Would he - like almost everybody else in DC - close his ears and pretend that the truth doesn’t matter? Or would he - like Stockman - listen and work to impeach Obama?
The answer to that question would tell me everything I needed to know about who to vote for in that primary. 2008 was literally a coup and until we get our country back it doesn’t even matter what Congress votes on, because Obama will do what he dang well pleases until somebody with balls stops him. Texans, you’ve done a great job of getting Cruz in there. Now get somebody with equal intestinal fortitude and we will all owe you a huge debt.
Stovall is getting my vote.

So, if he loses the primary I hope he’ll run as a spoiler as a 3rd party candidate. I would rather lose the seat then have the old leadership back in place.
I don’t like the guy but if it’s Cornyn or the idiot democrat I’ll hold my nose and vote Cornyn. We don’t want the democrats thinking they have a shot at Texas or there will be billions of dummy dollars coming this way. Down here we put nothing ahead of stomping the stupid party.

And, since Texas gets a lot of our Federal Tax dollars, and their US reps vote on things affecting all Americans...these federal elections are all 50 state matters.
And, judging by a response you got...Stovall is not going to question Obama on Constitutional matters
If you like him, that’s good enough for me because I don’t live in TX.
Is there any way Stovall can win without going negative on his competition? If Stovall turns up the snark there’s a good chance he’ll never got the votes he needs to win the runoff. He could “Romney” himself.
