Texans, please deny Cornyn a clear majority. Force him in a run-off.
That alone will send shock waves through-out the country and would
certainly help other Tea Party candidates build momentum in other
Senate races going into the primaries.
It would help in so many different ways.
More money donated to Tea Party candidates, more grassroots enthusiasm .
Who’s running as a Democrat? The press hates the Tea Party, if Stockman wins can he really win the election?
/johnny
Democrats are terrible. The GOP nominee will win for sure, even Stockman. That’s why the RATS wan’t to keep Cornyn in office.
I hear there are several other candidates in the race, so Cornyn getting less than 50% could happen.
Has anyone seen any polls, for what they are worth?
Cornyn voted to stop debate on the debt limit and therefore voted for a bill giving NO LIMIT to spending. He is not a conservative. He is running scared because people in Texas have been giving him hell and I don’t mean just a little bit.
U.S. Senator - Democrat candidates
David M. Alameel
Harry Kim
Kesha Rogers
Maxey Marie Scherr
Michael “Fjet” Fjetland
In 2012, Alameel spent $4.5 million running for the U.S. House from a new district
in Fort Worth but finished fourth in a crowded Democratic primary field.

************
I’ve asked that question and looked but can’t find anything worth talking about.
There was on recent but it only compared Cornyn/Stockman leaving out the other
six candidates. I’m sure at least Cornyn has taken some polls and that maybe
why he’s flooded the airways with ads, etc. In any case we’ll know in 13 days
what the real poll says, primary Mar. 4th.
David M. Alameel is the likely nominee, and he has TV commercials too. He also carries the backing of the popular Wendy Davis.
Early voting started yesterday.
I voted and Cornyn did NOT receive my vote in the primary.
A needle in a hay stack is where those dang polls are.
Even the opponents can’t seem to cough up a poll.
Does the silence mean Cornyn is in real trouble with run off, or that the opponents are still not enough?
When Texas media drags its feet publishing regular results of the crony crowd, it should mean a run off is more than a little possible.
Just got a poll call while posting this reply, so there is polling going on— just no regular streaming results.
This one asks if the election were held today, would you vote for Cornyn or Stockman?
The voice pronounced Cornyn’s name “Corn-yun”. Out of state pollster? RNC? (I just didn’t catch the name.)
Riiiiight. . . .
The Dallas Morning News endorsed Cornyn for the republican primary. . .and TDMN is a left-wing rag. . .so you KNOW if TDMN endorsed him this means the guy is a lib and won't fight for conservatives, and if he wins the seat, he will be the LEAST conservative/republican of them all.
When I voted yesterday I took the section of TDMN paper that had their republican picks and that pretty much told me who not to vote for. . .mostly on down-ticket offices as I already knew the best picks for governor, Lt gov, attny gen and senator.
Of course.
Democrats don’t have anyone in Texas like Mike McIntyre or John Barrow who would be good senate candidates relative to what they have. They dont someone less liberal than Mark Pryor.
An open borders, La Raza backed, gun grabbing Democrat won’t win this race in 2014. Whoever wins the primary will have millions from conservative and gun groups.
There are a lot of low information GOP voters who are backing Cornyn based on this false premise.
Kudos!
Do you agree Cornyn pouring money into his campaign is also a play for dem votes, in these TEXAS open primaries, to make up for the loss of TP voters, who are on the war path for RINO removal?
The Lone Star Tea Party is running a poll on their site for every contested seat in the state, which includes the U.S. Senate seat currently being vandalized by Cornyn.
Go here:
Like most Democrats, Alameel takes strong issue with Cornyn on immigration policy. Cornyn has opposed so-called comprehensive reform that would allow eventual citizenship for the 11 million people in the country illegally.
Im sure that will sell in 2014 in Texas. More gun grabbing voters.
Cornyn hasn’t opposed it. He wants to pass it in 2015. Alameel wants immediate passage.
The incumbents are getting creamed in this poll.
Well, it is a Tea Party poll, so it's not necessarily representative of the broader demographics of voters in the state. Still, it does give you an idea of where Tea Party members' choices lie.
Stockman is the crazy person....David my a**.
