TEA PARTY GROUPS LINE UP BEHIND LEE BRIGHT FOR SENATE - Major Game Changing Endorsements
Bright For Senate Campaign Website ^ | 2-19-14 | Bright Campaign

In what could be a major turning point in the race to oust Lindsey Graham from the U.S. Senate, most of South Carolina’s grassroots and Tea Party leaders are officially lining up to endorse Lee Bright Thursday morning on the front steps of the State House in Columbia. The announcement is set for 10 a.m.

The boost for the upstate Senator comes a little over a month after the Tea Party Convention in Myrtle Beach, where the consensus was that Bright carried the candidates’ debate – and had a clear plurality of support – dynamics that have been supported by several recent polls.

“This is going to be a big day for us,” said Bright, adding, “South Carolina’s great Tea Parties are the heartbeat of the state and of the nation. Our campaign has focused on what is important across South Carolina and across America – and not what’s important to lobbyists inside the beltway, or to the senior Senator from Arizona. Washington is out of touch with the rest of the country, and Lindsey Graham is a poster boy for that isolation and ignorance.”

Bright went on to say that “our citizens want the Obama-Reid-Schumer juggernaut stopped, and Lindsey Graham wants to work with them. Maybe he’d be a decent Republican from Massachusetts or New York, but South Carolina can do better, and the nation needs us to do better. That’s why we’re going to replace Lindsey Graham in the spring.”

This major conservative endorsement is not the first for Bright’s campaign, who also has the support of the National Republican Liberty Caucus, Gun Rights Across America and Congressman Steve Stockman.

I'm pretty sure that the South Carolina 'Sore Loser' statute, S.C.Code § 7-11-10, would prevent this.

Perfectly stated.

Uniting behind Bright is the clarion call, by the TEA Party, that they are a force to be reckoned with in South Carolina.

Making a damn good show of it is the *critical* next step.

We all need to show up and get cracking helping them launch this guy, for a broader cause even than a single state.

Just think, if we COULD beat Graham, even TAKE the senate, .......

We have to try, or else, don’t we?

Anybody out there able to start a Match contest, for Bright?

I do not see it here.

Are you trying to claim:

“Others might think technical little microbial FR protocols are more important than saving the country.”

answered the question why you chose to click the excerpt button? It looks like avoiding the question, not an answer.

Believe it or not, it is possible to do both. You don’t have to mislead the FR reader to get your point across.

Thanks for the FReepmail. I do have a life and enjoy it greatly.

I did read post #15. That is why I quoted your words from it in the post immediately above.

Why put in such effort avoiding the simple question?

Why put such an effort into a total non issue - an obsession over a total non issue.

Bureaucrat much?

I can guess, and only guess, that your motivation was to trick FReepers into believing there was more to the article, when there really wasn’t.

But I’m only guessing, and you don’t want to say. I wonder why that is.
