Obama blesses climate science as ‘irrefutable’

President Barack Obama says the current understanding of climate science is infallible.

“The science is irrefutable,” Obama declared during a Monday press conference in Mexico, where he appeared with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

“We’re already seeing severe weather patterns increase…[and that] has the potential of displacing people in ways that we cannot currently fully anticipate, and will be extraordinarily costly,” he claimed, as justification for the remarkable claim.

Oh, well I guess there no point in arguing about it anymore now that "he" has declared it to be irrefutable. Well, I stll "fute" it. But that's just me. I'm guessin' the multi-degreed climate scientist algore was the consultant on this. Maybe with a little michael mann and prince charles tossed in for good measure.

So I guess the many people who refute it are... what, crazy?

In need of ‘re-education’ perhaps?

From the same people who tell us that Rush Limbaugh shouldn’t talk about global warming because he isn’t a climate scientist.

Well, at least in my case is is correct. My current understanding of Climate Change is that the climate changes all of the time without any help from man, and that humans are unable to do much about it even if they tried.

SCIENCE IS NOT RULED BY CONSENSUS ! ! !

The Consensus was that the Sun went around the Earth.

Regarding this notion of the appeal to numbers - consensus - I submit the following.

In 1982, Australian researchers Barry J. Marshall and Robin Warren disagreed with the entire medical community's "consensus science" that stress was to blame for ulcers in the stomach and intestine. The two "deniers" postulated that the bacterium Helicobacter pylori was the cause of gastritis and peptic ulcer disease. No one believed it. The Australians’ idea was contrary to consensus and dogma because it was thought (ie unproven but believed) that peptic ulcer disease was the result of stress and lifestyle.

In 2005, Marshall and Warren were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. That is 23 years after the discovery of evidence, that it took to counteract the beliefs of "scientific consensus."

This is getting scary.

Whether its Climate Change, the Minimum Wage, Ukraine or whatever, he seems to think all he has to do is give a speech decreeing that 2+2 does not equal 4, and it will make it so.
