US Senator Tim Kaine, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee, said he expects the coming presidential elections in Egypt to be impartial.
During a meeting with a number of journalists at a Cairo hotel Thursday, Kaine denied that the US let down Egypt in its war against terrorism, highlighting that the relations between the two countries are strong and that Washington will support Egypt in the coming period.
Responding to a question on the US stance regarding the candidature of Defense Minister Field Marshal Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi in the presidential polls, Kaine said that there is no problem at all about this. What is important is the president's vision to solve the problems of the country, he said.
Earlier, Interim President Adly Mansour met with the visiting US senator where they discussed the Egyptian-US relations.
Next step, total exposure of Benghazi.
God Help the U.S. to overcome the evil running our nation.
Tim Kaine, unlikely, but pulling the weight that John McCain dropped long ago..
The evil isn’t in Washington. Its in the minds of the idiot voters out there. RIght now they are hot on another political strumpet - Hillary.
This is the 4rd group of Congress that have met with the Egyptian Government since Morsi’s overthrow.
The first was John McCain & Lindsey Graham. They did not like how they were received.
The 3 subsequent groups were all received well and I think the attitude in Congress is changing and is supportive of el Sisi and the new Egyptian government.
But it matters little, the damage is probably done. Unfortunately the Russians have made some inroads.
Hopefully the truth of what happened with Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorists will expose Obama for his hand in this and Benghazi.
OK, I accept that.
But it is clear that someone is realizing how damaging the information out of Egypt is for Obozo.

It’s a fig leaf, perhaps Kaine’s up for re-election in 2014? Zero and Kaine and the rest of the Party of the Single Party state support Putin’s form of despotism, and support unilateral disarmament, but support the homosexual agenda.
