SAN FRANCISCO -- Just as California begins its final marketing push to get people signed up for health coverage by the end of March, the portal for the state's exchange has been shut down because of software problems.
Covered California officials took the exchange's enrollment portal offline Wednesday afternoon and it has been down ever since.

Uh the site has been down for three days with no estimate when it will be operational again. Exactly what level of problems is the federal site having where this is minor in comparison?
But they are still taking paper applications. So back to the future.
I guarantee you when single-payer happens, that website will run better than Google.
Stymie strikes again!
I propose to add the phrase “software glitch” to the same list that begins with “high-capacity ammo clips”, the one that requires a $10,000 fine for stupidity be levied before anything on it can be used again.
Brother, you said a mouthful!
Bbbbut, enlistments are “soaring” or so they say...
Might have choked Artie but it ain’t gonna choke Stymie.
One of my favorite movie quotes.
At least they have enough taxpayer money to waste sending me a letter every friggin day.
When I find out which one of those brats signed me up I'm gonna tear a chunk out of him.
The stymie is so full of regulation BS you can’t unscramble the eggs.
Ha...that's Not a joke....
Some guy used his dogs name as a security question ...and received notification that Mr. Baxter was enrolled...

It's a real shaggy dog story. While Americans across the country are struggling to sign up for ObamaCare due to problems with the federal health care website, at least one enrollee has successfully gotten covered through a state-run exchange: a Colorado mans 14-year-old Yorkie.
Fort Collins resident Shane Smith told KDVR he received a letter last week informing his dog,Baxter, that a health insurance account had been opened for the pup through Connect for Health Colorado.
Smith told the station he had to sign up for coverage through the state exchange because his health insurance plan was cancelled under ObamaCare. He isnt sure how Baxter wound up getting enrolled instead, but he said he did give Baxters name as a security question as part of the registration process.
It was pretty funny. Typical ObamaCare, that they would insure your dog by mistake, Smith told KDVR.
LOL Ya can’t make this stuff up!
No problem all of the code genius in SillyCon Valley and Gay Frisco will volunteer and surge forward to save the Unaffordable Care Act, aka Obozo Care.
