Race, race, race and race. It's all they have, all they can talk about.

Race is the key but not for the reason they say.

As part of a lawsuit settlement with the Democrat Party, the Gutless Old Party agreed to not engage in any voter protection initiatives. Two of the clauses read this way:

(e) refrain from undertaking any ballot security activities in polling places or election districts where the racial or ethnic composition of such districts is a factor in the decision to conduct, or the actual conduct of, such activities there and where a purpose or significant effect of such activities is to deter qualified voters from voting; and the conduct of such activities disproportionately in or directed toward districts that have a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic populations shall be considered relevant evidence of the existence of such a factor and purpose;

(f) refrain from having private personnel deputized as law enforcement personnel in connection with ballot security activities.

Democratic National Committee v Republican National Committee Case No. 09-4615 (C.A. 3, Mar. 8, 2012

http://judicialview.com/Court-Cases/Civil-Procedure/Democratic-National-Committee-v-Republican-National-Committee/10/201975

So anyplace they have a “substantial proportion of racial or ethnic populations” the GOP has agreed they can do all the vote fraud they want without interference. Thus all they need is names for ballets to be filled in as needed.

But it is not the Civil War years in particular that define our region’s politics so much as the 12 years that followed. Reconstruction, that fraught period in our history, rife with misunderstanding and mythical remembering cruel subjection, theft, fraud and General Fed Gov Corruption, still haunts haunted the South.

Conservatives welcome fellow and new conservatives of all races. Witness Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Mia Love, Clarence Thomas, Niger Innis, etc. etc.

This guy is desperate.

The thing is, both parties are very busy giving away jobs which need to be brought back to America.

We buy TONS of stuff from China, maybe 60% of what is for sale it seems.

Our annual trade deficit with China is 300 billion / month. on US sales to China of less than 150 billion / month.

America needs to bring back American jobs.

I hate to say it, but it is likely Democrats will start advocating for American jobs, before Republicans get out of China’s pocket.

I don’t want the GOP to give America away, but I see no evidence at the moment, that the GOP is for American jobs.

Wake up Republicans.

Bring back American jobs. Now.

The problem is that they listen to Thomas Frank and those types and complain about how republicans are voting against their best interests.
Calling people dumbasses isn’t going to get their vote.

I think that CW2 will happen before that. There’s no point living, if you can call it that, in a communist tyranny.

He’s wrong, because Republicans have great growth potential in the south with Blacks, and to a lesser degree latinos who may be personally conservative, but have voted for Democrat out of habit. The second fact he conveniently forgets is that Christianity still has a huge draw in the south.

This character is an ignoramus who has little understanding of the South. It’s true that race played a huge role in southern politics during the 1950s and ‘60s and for a few years into the ‘70s. But no one was trying to repeal the Civil Rights Act and race played less and less a role in how white southerners voted.

The Dims lost large numbers of southerners due to their anti-war, anti-American stances beginning during the Vietnam War era and continuing on to the present day. The same goes for the Dims’ leftist, socialist agenda that constantly works toward bigger government and a greater dependency on government by more and more citizens. And their radical versions of feminism and gays rights and their general attempts to undermine traditional values have cost them more voters in the South.

He did make one fairly accurate point, and that is that flooding the South and the US in general will poor and poorly educated Third World immigrants is the Dims’ ticket, and probably their only ticket, to electoral success in the South and elsewhere. That is the only thing that has kept the Dims viable since the 1960s because the extant population from that era (and descendants) has left them and it has had very little to do with race since the early ‘70s.

The Dmocrats talk a big game, but the fact is that the only states in the South that they have any chance of winning in ten years are Texas and Florida.

Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama will never vote Democrat.
