Nine Philadelphia men have been indicted for allegedly plotting a string of smash-and-grab jewelry store robberies that netted millions in luxury loot. Four of the men are accused of stealing a $2 million jewel known as the Liberty Bell Ruby from a Wilmington, Del. jewelry store.

The raw stone must have been something unique. It’s a shame someone opted to carve it into an ugly representation of the Liberty Bell.
Yes, it is rather ugly. It would be interesting to know the country of origin of the stone. If its a Burmese ruby...well then it would be of the best quality.
Obviously these poor victims were ex-felons who were forced to reoffend because they were denied the right to vote.
