The Chinese have been aborting FEMALE fetuses since they got hold of amniocentesis. They have aborted so many female fetuses that China produced a GENERATION of men for whom there were no women. The Chinese call those men the "Bare Branches."
EVEN the wealthier, upper class girls had their feet bound to produce "lilies," that is, tiny little feet. Women with NORMAL feet were "ugly."
One used to be able to see those old women back in the 1970's with the tiny feet HERE in the USA. They are all dead now and the ABC's are 100% American and don't do that mutilation..
There were so many female fetuses killed that the Chinese allowed GIRLS to inherit their father's job, trying to get the Chinese to NOT KILL their female fetuses....UNHEARD of before the dearth of girls. Didn't work. The Chinese SO dislike baby girls that their murder of female fetuses continues unabated.
The word "good" in Cantonese is "ho." The calligraphy for "ho" shows, in the Chinese, of course, a woman with a small boy. That is, it's GOOD for a woman to have a son. Their prejudice against girls is so institutionalized as to be part of their written language.
One can tell A WHOLE LOT about a culture by how their women are treated. The West, that is, Christian, treats us women better than any other culture in human history. We are damn lucky women here in the West.
