Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick signaled Sunday that he would be open to a White House bid at some point, though the governor has previously ruled out seeking the presidency in 2016.
Asked in an interview whether he could see himself as a national candidate — not necessarily in 2016 — the second-term Democrat responded: “Maybe. Maybe.”
“That’s a decision I have to make along with my wife of 30 years, and she’s a tough one to convince,” Patrick said. Prodded further, the former Justice Department official responded: “Let’s just see what time tells.”
Only the second African-American elected governor of a U.S. state, Patrick gave a blockbuster speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention declaring it was “time for Democrats to stiffen our backbone and stand up for what we believe.”

The only way Patrick becomes president is to be Hillary’s VP. As the old witch’s dementia takes hold during her second term, Patrick might have a shot at serving out the remainder of that term.
But nominated on the democrat ticket? In 2016? Not a snowball’s chance in proverbial hell.

I have long been predicting a Patrick/O’Malley (Com-MD Gov)ticket and see no reason to change my mind.
I imagine there are some good White House job openings in custodial and maintenance. Maybe assistant toilet plunger?
He could have a future as the executive lawn care supervisor in charge of scumber and unfound Easter eggs.

Let’s be honest here. Barack Obama was and is completely inept. He’s not some mad genius expertly plotting to destroy the country. He’s simply not up to the job. Even worse, America elected him twice even though he continues to demonstrate a complete lack of skill as chief executive.
Frankly, he was a complete nobody out of Illinois, but his skin was black. There, I wrote it. A white guy with his political (non) record would have been laughed out of the race, but somehow Barack pulled it off. I’ll attribute it to white guilt and black racism until someone proves me wrong.
I think Hillary’s VP will likely be a DeVal Patrick/Cory Booker type. With a “wink wink” to the entitlement army about Hillary’s health issues.

I’ve read that Patrick is an associate member of the Clinton Crime Family. I think he’s a likely VP candidate.

You get the impression that even those not paying much attention have a foreboding sense that the inevitable SHTF day is fast approaching?
It’s an overwhelming sensation that everyone is on edge waiting for “it”, even if they can’t put their finger on what “it” is. A very unnerving lull before the storm. Those who see it coming aren’t necessarily confident that they will be prepared.
Kind of like knowing a 9.0 EQ is imminent, but being helpless if it happens on the school field trip day to the nuke plant.
Tension you can cut with a knife.
