You can see where this is going. Higher ranked officers toting the ideological line along with affirmative action middle management and a bunch of lower rank low information enlisted personnel.
In other words, a military that will not hesitate to kill fellow Americans. Add drones.
It’s getting scary.
Agencies such as the DHS are buying billions of rounds of ammo but we need to cut U.S. military budget to save money? What does THAT tell you?
Indeed. Patriots will be carefully culled. Lists will be selectively targeted. This is a purge under the guise of budget cuts. Still for a higher purpose as I’ve stated in my previous post.
Yeah you want to fight wars in Texas, Maine, Florida, California, etc? That’s really smart.
Just a little info for the isolationist idiots who SUPPORT what leftists like Hagel and Obama are about to do to us and our allies.
We don’t maintain our armed forces to be the “world policeman”. Plenty happens in this world we do zip about.
We maintain our armed forces worldwide to do little things like keep sea lanes open so we can trade with allies, rather than be choked off here at home. Also to secure our vital national interests.
All of you who actually want to only defend “our borders” you actually would let every single country on Earth fall to enemies???
Canada? Mexico? Israel? England? Germany? Japan?

It’s also about diverting so much money to social programs that you can never again have a credible military.
It’s OK as long as we can still have our cell phones. Also, make sure that extra $1 ATM fee does not increase.

And the idiots behind him cheer and clap and nod their heads in agreement, without one iota of an inkling as to what it is he’s really saying or what his intended purpose was by the statement. (...as I shake my head in disbelief!)
Hold on! You won’t find too many in Nebraska who wanted UpChuck to be SecDef, especially among the many military retirees in the state. The Omaha World Herald, the local GOPe and our governor pushed his appointment and got a good bit of pushback. In the editorials the big support for him was from democrats. Besides, none of us had a say in the choice. We were just glad that when it became apparent that we wouldn’t reelect him he stayed in D.C. instead of coming back here.
They all can defend themselves. We have to borrow money from China to defend the world. England is now in the tank after centuries of war. We spent the first half of last century in Europe, the second half in the Pacific. Now we are into the NE and Africa with hints of So America. Another war is existential to us. China is breathing down our necks. I’m for protecting America. Don’t worry about the non-interventionists. It’s the interventionists that spell the doom for this country. And that’s getting real.
They will all be competing for jobs, too, when they’re getting harder and harder to find. Meanwhile, a weakened US military should make the Chinese very happy.
The unraveling continues...daily. If it comes to it, take as many with you as you can.
We may wind up with only 1/10'th of our needed fighting force, but they will all be gay, lesbian, transgender, pansexual, intersexual, etc... which will more than make up for the reduction in head count!
If this chart were expanded for the budget years 2013 and 2014, you would see an even worse trend.

They can’t all defend themselves. We are borrowing money for welfare programs far more than for defense.
If you think the budget will shrink because Hagel shrinks defense, that is a pipe dream. These guys are blowing the budget through the roof.
Certainly you don’t think Chuck Hagel and Barack Obama are crafting a wise defense policy for the United States? They will only invite war.
Sorry. Staying out out of wars is a sound defense. It is the other countries that you mentioned that may not have a sound defense.
