At first I thought this was a case of Munchousen's disease…but the judge and Boston are acting so bizarrely…I mean, if the hospital and judge do suspect this, it is an easy thing to find out. Does this mean they will go after the other daughter, too?

I'd like to know more about the judge. He/she sounds like a real idiot. Why a gag order? The only one to profit from a gag order would be the incumbency of the hospital or the judge.

The only thing to help here would be transparency. Is it true that the Boston doctor is barely out of residency?

I don’t know why everybody is so nice in cases like this, The Social Worker, Doctor, Nurse, JUDGE and
every last person involved in this FELONY KIDNAPPING OF A CHILD belong at the end of a ROPE. This is what TYRANNY LOOKS LIKE.

I totally appreciate Megyn Kelly for putting this into the national eye.

It’s disgusting.

Agree 100%. The gag order simply does not help the situation that I can see, and there’s a lot about this case that just isn’t adding up.

Incumbency=incompetence. Sometimes I hate spell check….

But, you know, if it is Meunchhausen, why not just say it is suspected, and give the family the opportunity to explain, deny, reassure…? From everything I've seen, I think this family has been grievously wronged.

Justina is NOT getting medical care:

‘A National Outrage’: Father of 15-Year-Old at Center of Boston Children’s Controversy Says ‘We’re Fighting Evil’

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/02/25/a-national-outrage-father-of-15-year-old-at-center-of-boston-childrens-controversy-says-were-fighting-evil/

His wife and oldest daughter were able to briefly see Justina last Friday, Lou told Glenn Beck Tuesday, and “what they saw appalled them.”

“She has a port into her colon. There were severe red lines, no doubt poisoned sepsis creeping into the system,” he said slowly. “The DCF people were laughing at it. So we had to raise a red flag. We talked to one of the top surgeons … who goes, ‘that could be deadly! What are they doing? That needs to be checked immediately!’ … We had to beg to get a doctor to come in and look at it.”

From everything that I have read, I still can't figure out how Boston Children Hosp. has standing.

The problem with Munchousen is two fold. One, if it was Munchousen Justina should be getting better. She is not.

The second is that her older sister has the same disorder and appears to be doing ok under the Tuffs prescribed treatment.

I did hear from an MD that a diagnosis of mitochondria disease can indeed be a marker for hypochondria or Meunchausen's. But, even so, the deterioration of the patient is an alarm bell.

And the refusal to allow pictures to be taken? That's an indication of something to hide...

The youngblood ER doctor who treated her was 7 months in practice and diagnosed her with a mental problem within 24 hours, disregarding the years of medical records from Tufts.

I think Boston Children's is dragging out the inevitable law suit that will cost them multi millions for what they have done to this young girl.

There is a second piece of evidence in the parents’ favor not discussed in this article.
Her older sister has mitrochondrial disease. If a sibling has a genetic disorder, albeit rare, the diagnosis of the younger one is much more reasonable.
And the parents clearly have a handle on how to handle it, because the older sister is still alive.

I think he’s a neurologist, not an ER doc.

If that girl dies everybody involved in separating her from her parents and her original doctor should be charged with kidnapping and murder.

Yes, and from the Netherlands.

Precedent is being established here. A "mental health" exemption is being attached to every right you think you have.

Eventually, and not too far down the road, this will lead to children being confiscated from the homes of wrong-thinking (hate-teaching) parents.

Don't forget this:
Your children belong to the collective

Don't think for a moment that the MSNBC lady came up with that concept on her own. It was fed to her. For a reason.

“The DCF people were laughing at it."

When I heard Lou Pelletier say that, I could feel my skin getting warm, literally. How he's keeping it together right now is beyond me. He's a good and decent man, but his strength is really off-the-charts. God bless him and his family.

Somebody in the medical legal complex stands to make a lot of money or a lot of political hay by this girl’s imprisonment and likely impending death which also translates to lots of money.

I believe Mass has a little-known rule called emancipation....which typically means at around 15 or 16...you file paperwork with the local judge and demand your adult freedom....from all guardians (parents and otherwise). If I were the family, I’d just hustle in the forms to her, have them signed, and force the Boston judge to give her adult status, then walk out the door and catch a cab back to Conn.
