I agree with your post

“Global warming has always been a hoax, a scam, a fraud. It’s never been about “saving the planet” or any such rot. It’s just about accruing power for the totalitarians on the “progressive” left. Nothing more, nothing less.”

i was so shocked when a democrat said to me in person “This snow and cold is global warming”. what an idiot. well she was talking to a whole group of us. i shouted her down and embarrassed her in front of the whole group. i had started off the debate as I always do in social gatherings, baiting them with "This is the coldest year ever. so much for global warming" . democrats always seek to set me straight. but i slam them with so many rapid fire points they shut up embarrassed lol. it's great fun

now that chick in this pic in your post is one pretty girl:

Could you make those charts larger? I can’t QUITE read them. ;)

Good info. What a scam! Why aren’t I ever smart (or evil) enough to get in on the bottom floor of these things?

RE: Here’s what Florida gets instead of snow...

How does that relate to climate change?

I had pulled the above quote to go with the comment - then forgot to include it. I don't believe in man made climate change - but I do believe in man made ecological disasters... even small ones like this lizard invasion...

“Global Warming is the biggest lie ever told.”

The “Reverend” Al Sharpton was in a short video in which he told all the “flat-earthers” that “Global Warming” is real and trying to say that a cold winter disproves it is untrue. He said, “It’s winter, it’s supposed to be cold!”, thereby proving that Global Warming/Climate Change really exist to all the leftist fellow-travellers.

Leftists will embrace Global Warming/Climate Change as real and in large numbers vote for those who want to manipulate an entire economic system with taxes, controls, and regulations. They’re already doing it by bypassing Congress and their constituents are applauding it!

Absolutely mind-boggling and amazing. (And if one lives in Colorado or New York, the leftists just eliminated the 2nd Amendment with the swipe of a pen on paper; also absolutely amazing.)

IMHO

In Wisconsin, we have 7 feet of frost in the ground. Most water/sewage lines are buried at 6 feet. Cities are asking residents to keep faucets flowing to prevent the mains from bursting. A water bill adjustment has been promised, but people are skeptical. Tomorrow is March 1st and we have a forecast of 7+ to -7.

It is too cold to start garden plants. Organic produce farmers are facing huge propane bills for their greenhouse starts. We will be lucky if soil temps are warm enough for row crops by June. That’s if the ground is dry enough to plow in time for planting.

I am 71. I have lived in Wisconsin for 50 years, 40 of them in my present location. The 1970s winters were brutal and I do recall winters with successive days of -30+ real temperatures. But this year, we did not have a January thaw and we had 2 days above 39 in February.

All of this is combined with high energy prices, energy shortages due to government edicts, silver lining articles about how to lose weight by being cold and nanny edicts about transport of firewood outside of townships due to the Emerald Ash Borer and proposed regulations on existing woodstove sales, even when included in an existing home sale.

It may not be THE coldest winter ever, but it has been unrelenting and our noses rubbed in it by TPTB. I have never been so cold for so long or spent so much to keep buildings at minimum temperatures of 55. I know of people who have retreated to one room of their house and others who spent nearly $1000/month to keep a house and a small office heated.

It is intolerable. It is something that could have been avoided. It is something exacerbated by government. They got every long term forecast wrong, probably due to their agenda, and that same agenda was behind every vicious regulation that has made everything worse. I wish them all chilblains, painful muscles and quadruple-digit monthly heating bills.
