WASHINGTON, D.C, February 25, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) The United States and Canada's ultra-permissive abortion policies make them extreme outliers on the world stage when it comes to abortion, according to a new report from the Charlotte Lozier Institute. Only five other nations, including China and North Korea, are in the same league.
The United States is one of only seven countries in the world that permit elective abortion past 20 weeks, wrote Angelina Baglini in Gestational Limits on Abortion in the United States Compared to International Norms.
She studied abortion policy in 198 countries, independent states, or semi-autonomous zones with at least one million people. Of these, 139 have laws requiring the women to present a reason to procure an abortion.
More than two-thirds of the nations that allow abortion-on-demand, 36 of the remaining 59 countries, limit abortion at 12 weeks gestation, or the first trimester.

In rehab talk, this would be called an elephant in the living room.
Not only is it an evil business on the surface, when people delve into the details they see an evil business underneath the surface too.
And yet the national response is just a yawn?
And one does not need to “bomb an abortion facility” at all in order to make serious dents in this evil. It wouldn’t be there without clients. (China isn’t a good example because abortion is forced by policy. It didn’t get like that due to popular choice, which is often to attempt to keep an “illegal” baby.)
This evil has been allowed to keep up in order to provide Christians, the keepers of the gospel, the impetus to be serious about that again. The murder is a symptom, to borrow something liberals say a lot. But the cure is God, to cite something liberals virtually never say.
The left should be indicted for genocide.
And can there be any doubt that God has removed his blessing on this great land due to our turning our back on Him?
