25 yards with a pistol? Are you bringing in your own pistol? What if it’s a snub .44? Nobody is hitting anything at 25 yards with a short barrel revolver unless the target is the size of a UPS truck.

You need more practice with a good 2 inch revolver hitting various targets out to a hundred yards or further is very possible. I shot a coyote with one shot, double action 32 long steps away after running a mile. I shot another yote with a 3.5 inch 9mm at 49 yards with a rest.
practice, practice, practice.
