President Obama Accuses Republicans Of Wanting To Segregate Homosexuals

[caption id="attachment_17054" align="aligncenter" width="332"]The First Gay President Demonizer-in-Chief[/caption]

I have said many times, President Obama is good at what he does. And what does he do, you may ask? He divides our country, stirring up hate and strife wherever he goes. He uses the same tactics on every issue he addresses. It matters not if he is talking about income inequality or the rights of homosexuals, he always uses the same kind of inflammatory speech to stir up his captive crowds to action.

Remember how he sent his minions out to the personal residences of certain CEOs, right after he took office? He had them whipped up about the amount of money the CEOs were making, saying it wasn't fair. That was his first salvo against income inequality. He is doubling down on that issue since he was sworn in for his second term, hence his push to raise the minimum wage.

Homosexual rights is another issue on which he has stepped up his attacks. Remember now, his position on homosexual marriage has "evolved". He was against it during his first presidential campaign. He has since realized the error of his ways and is pushing as hard as he can for their right to be called normal. This push contains the same divisive speech patterns he always uses. Did you know Republicans are trying to segregate homosexuals? That's a new one on me, but that's what the man is saying. I found this on Weasel Zippers, who has a picture of Obama up, calling him the "Demonizer-in-Chief". A more apt description can not be found. I shamelessly borrowed that picture for this post.

Washington Examiner -President Obama in a speech on Friday hammered Republicans who oppose gay rights, saying that some of them wanted to “legalize segregation based on sexual orientation.”

“In some states, they're so far in the past they're even pushing laws to legalize segregation based on sexual orientation,” said Obama in an address to the Democratic National Convention winter meeting in Washington.

“As Democrats, we've let the other side define the word 'freedom' for too long,” he added.

Obama's comments were likely a reference to a recent Arizona bill that would have allowed businesses to refuse service to gay customers.

There you have it. Because some lawmakers would like to protect the religious freedom we all thought was guaranteed us by the Constitution, President Obama is declaring some Republicans want to segregate homosexuals. Never mind that the Arizona law said nothing about segregating anyone. No, facts do not matter to our President. All that matters is him getting his point across and if that requires dividing America, then so be it. The ends justifies the means.

I am now going to do something I have not done before, in over five years of blogging. The rest of this post comes from a post I first published on December 1, 2008. It has been only slightly edited to correct the grammar to be relevant for today. I would not normally do this, but when I read what Obama had said, the first thing I thought about was this post. It is called "Is Gay The New Black?" and it begins below this paragraph. The original post can be found at the link.

Let me state, as clearly as I can, that I am against giving homosexual couples the right to marry. Marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman and homosexual couples have no business encroaching upon that union. At the same time, what two consenting adults do between themselves is none of my business, unless their actions endanger someone else. They should receive the same legal rights as married couples via civil unions, but marriage should be off limits.

On December 16, 2008, The Advocate Magazine, the leading homosexual magazine in the country, had a cover story entitled "Gay Is The New Black". The subtitle is "The Last Great Civil Rights Struggle". In the article, the case was made that being a homosexual is akin to the struggles African-Americans have went through to gain their civil rights. A lot of the article deals with the let down the homosexual movement suffered on November 4, with the passage of Proposition 8 in California and it does its best to portray homosexuals as having suffered greatly from the lack of civil rights, just as African-Americans have suffered. From The Advocate:

History compounds the insult and suggests hypothetical scenarios rendering the mixed result of this election even more absurd. If the California supreme court and the U.S. Supreme Court decisions overturning anti miscegenation laws -- Perez v. Sharp and Loving v. Virginia -- had been blocked by popular vote, Barack Obama might never have been born. His parents would not have been able to marry in several states (although Hawaii, where they were married, had never enacted a law against interracial marriage).
It's a stretch to equate interracial marriage with homosexual marriage. It is also a stretch to equate the homosexual struggle for the right to marry with the African-American struggle for civil rights.

African-Americans have certainly been treated badly in our country's history. The fact that our country ever allowed slavery is a disgrace; calling another human being property and buying and selling entire families is a travesty. African-Americans have been discriminated against throughout the history of America. Even after slavery was abolished, these people had to fight every step of the way, just to be recognized as normal people, just to be recognized as free. They were not served in a lot of restaurants, they even had separate bathrooms. If someone even thought a black man looked at a white woman, he was subject to beatings and/or sudden death. It didn't matter if he was guilty or not, there would be no trial. The homosexual marriage fight pales in comparison to what those who have suffered real discrimination have gone through.

In the south, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), with their white robes and crosses, terrorized black people and white people, who were deemed to be sympathetic to the African-American cause. People were killed and their houses burned to the ground, all because they were either black or too friendly with a black person. I say again, the fight for homosexual marriage doesn't even come close to that kind of treatment.

Several years ago, a young homosexual man by the name of Matthew Shepard, was brutally attacked and killed near Laramie, Wyoming. There is no way he deserved what happened to him, no matter what his sexual preference was. It was never proven that the murder was a hate crime towards homosexuals, but some of the facts suggest it was. This kind of act would be equatable to some of the treatment African-Americans have received in our country. If ever a crime fits the description of "hate crime", the murder of Matthew Shepard does. Being denied access to eHarmony because Dr. Neil Clark Warren doesn't know enough about homosexual relationships to match two people up is neither discrimination, nor a hate crime.

The entire issue about homosexual marriage is not about discrimination or civil rights. The majority of Americans do not believe they or our government should interfere with the acts of two consenting adults, as long as no one is harmed in the process. Most of us do not agree with those acts, but in reality, it is their right to do as they please. However, the fight for homosexual marriage is not about that. Instead, it is a fight to prevent homosexuals from intruding upon what most Americans consider a sacred union between one man and one woman. Civil rights does not and should not even enter the discussion. To do so is a slap in the face of African-Americans and any other ethnic groups who have had to fight every step of the way, just to gain access to basic rights. In some cases, it has been a fight to just be considered a person and not property. That's real discrimination; the denial of homosexuals the right to marry is not.

An arrogant little boy pushing in on major drug dealers’ territory in Laramie, Wyoming does not a hate crime make.

And the stupidity of “hate crime” - Orwell would be never stop throwing up.

I was thinking something similar about mental health.

People are facing physical debilitation and life threatening incidents due to Obamacare. Reid says they're liars.

Russia invades Ukraine and Obama declares happy hour.

Boehner is in a fog, but when Obama declared happy hour he probably said "I'll drink to that."

That gets sillier the more you think about it.

“Fountain is for homosexual use only.”

“We have three restrooms: men, women, and LGBT.”

“Homosexuals will please ride in the back of the bus.”

“Sorry, this restaurant is for heterosexuals. We do not serve organic arugula here. Would you like a double bacon cheeseburger instead?”

It has gotten preposterous. Most of have a lot of things facing us that make us lose sleep. I guess gays don't have to face real life decisions. All they have to worry about is their next date, and they have an American President taking time to cheer them on.

The politician who would be President Obama —claims to be Christian because his mentor taught him he needed to put on that cloak—if he were to appear to be President—we have never had a US President that did not at least pretend to be Christian. But the Tree is known by its fruit as it is written of the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus,That Rabbi from Nazareth taught so aptly a Jewish homily.Christ also taught that whoever is ashamed of Him or his Words here on earth He would be ashamed of before His Father in Heaven.
Obama asked the Jesuits to hide the symbols o four Christian Faith if he were to speak at a Christian ? University.Obama has edited out the Name of God in reading our Patriotic documents written by American Patriots. He has spent taxpayer funding to advance Islam —and has elevated the enemy to positions of trust in his Evil Administration. then we come to his advancing Immorality and SIN— He ordered his DOJ to NOT defend DOMA— He has ordered his Evil Administration to use Federal Judges to strike down States rights(DOMA laws) “Change Marriage and you change the world. Convince the people that Government not God lays down the rules...R.C. Sproul called it right. The People now believe Government ,and the courts have a right to make laws and to declare laws made contrary to the Laws dictated by God,Himself as legal and binding—and the Nation of sheep goes placidly to slaughter.

Would only say I think your two paragraphs are contradictory as you bemoan voting on made up emotional stuff then are upset by what you call gay slurs. More made up emotional stuff, in my opinion.

Hey Obama - how about publicly telling the muslims that they need to “evolve” their position on homosexuality? Christianity wants homosexuals to recognize their sin (like everyone else), repent, and live according to God’s ways. Islam wants homosexuals dead. Brave, brave Mr. Obama. Won’t call his friends the muslims out on this issue.

I know quite a few homosexuals. Mostly because they are friends of a relative who is also gay. But, these folks happen to be in long-term relationships. Although I do not condone homosexual behavior, I certainly am not trying or encouraging segregation of such.

Obama is an idiot. In every society all over the world, people congregate because of certain shared values. Any segregation going on with homosexuals is entirely done by themselves, just as Christians gather together with one another.

Do liberals even know about wisdom? I doubt it as it is a gift from God, and many of hem are agnostics.

That was, of course, a blatant and outrageous lie, but since it was in front of the DNC nobody was ever going to call him on it. That won't be true in the upcoming elections. "You lie" needs to be the theme, because there is enough substance behind it that it cannot be effectively denied. People haven't forgotten Benghazi despite the media's insistence that they have. They haven't forgotten "you can keep your plan, you can keep your doctor" despite the media's attempts to cover up. And the world is not gay just because of all the noise.

Let's face it, we have the Russian army in invasion status and the most critical issue facing the country is whether a bakery will provide a cake for a homosexual wedding? Really?

My paragraphs are not contradictory. You can be intelligently against homosexual marriage or against making people do business with homosexuals based on sound arguments. Calling people ‘queers’ of ‘Bath-house Barry’ undermines your credibility and makes all of us look ignorant.

In terms of homosexual marriage, one can argue that each state has the right to define marriage as it sees fit. You can then list a couple of examples that clearly would not be acceptable to most folks...such as a mother marrying her son....or a father marrying his daughter. Then you say, “I see homosexual mariage equivalent to these things.” Your argument is then made intelligently and you haven’t offended anyone. Get it?

In terms of the latest thing going on in Arizona. Rather than trash gay people, simply cite that it seems reasonable that any business has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Come up with some extreme examples.....such as a fine restaraunt refusing to do business with a fat smelly homeless person....or the LPGA refusing to admit men onto their tour....or a womens spa refusing to allow men.....and your point is made. Never do you need to go the gay slurs.

People....we are in a debate with a determined foe. If we don’t act intelligently we will lose. It’s that simple.

How about calling it by the name that science used to call it until quite recently, and that is ‘pederasty’, instead of using the imposed euphemism which equates pederasty with joy! Because that is how they win, by changing the language, pederasty is gay and infanticide is mere choice, and who among us or among the population in general is against choice or gaiety. You use their language and you lose the debate before it even started, so don’t lecture us about not being too bright. Who’s not too bright here?
