Chinese authorities said Sunday that the East Turkestan Islamic Movement was behind a deadly attack on a train station in southwest Yunnan Province last night, local media reported.
At least 29 innocent people died, and more than 130 were injured in the attack on the Kunming Railway Station carried out by a group of more than 10 knife-wielding people, Xinhua news agency said.
Police reportedly killed five attackers and is searching for the rest of the group.
“Evidence at the crime scene showed that the Kunming Railway Station terrorist attack was orchestrated by Xinjiang separatist forces,” Xinhua cited local municipal officials.

I’m not usually on the side of the Islamists, but the Uyghurs have real grievances against the ChiComs, and I am never on the side of the ChiComs.

No. This has been going on for a long time. The silliness is, China is backing Muslims in Afghanistan and Pakistan, both of which have contributed to this problem in their back yard.

I join you in that. I don’t like Islam, I hate it, but the Chinese have been systematically destroying the ancient culture of Uighuristan, a country they invaded in the 20th century. Just like they are doing in Tibet, but more so..
