In the past four years, you and I gave Planned Parenthood $1,900,000,000.
Good thing the economy, job situation, and small business development is so stable in America, because I'm positive we didn't need any of that cash did we? You know... that we actually earned... and then gave to Planned Parenthood.
The silver lining over those four years?
1,200,000 children executed in the wombs of their mothers, mostly at the behest of irresponsible men in the lives of the women pregnant with them. And before you get all "rape and incest" on me, let's excuse the 1% of those nearly 1.2 million procedures and deal with the other 99%. That leaves us with 1,189,000 children, stamped out in the safest place they can ever be.
When you average it out, we taxpayers for the last four years have more or less paid out $1600 per killed child to an organization that promises not one dime goes to the procedures from the tax-payer coffers.
They respond by saying, "But we offer mammograms, and adoption, and other various medical/culturally needed resources."
But they don't. Planned Parenthood has never done mammograms, even when their lying chief executive--Cecile Richards--went on national television to claim they did.
As for adoptions, fewer babies are adopted through Planned Parenthood by more than 50% less than the percentage of babies aborted due to rape and incest. (1 in 149.)
Odd how that works though considering the tax-payer influx usually averages nearly 50% of the total income they receive. It is especially odd considering that abortion accounts for the majority of the activity Planned Parenthood involves itself in.
And that begs the question, "If they don't need the money for the majority of their work, why are we giving them the food from our children's mouths?"
In 2010 there was even some question as to whether or not they got more from the government than they actually spent for ALL operations in that specific fiscal year.
This week Planned Parenthood was busy defending a video they produced and marketed to children, whom they hope will engage in sexual activity. They had come under fire--for some unknown reason--for promoting the fact that this past October had been declared "kink" month. The adolescent looking host of the video, with some super cute name like "Laci," described in some precise detail the exact meanings of domination, submission, and bondage.
Smiling all the way through, she made all of the options sound like a total gas!
Which everyone over 14 can attest to... right?
Because everyone does such things... right?
This last week one last Planned Parenthood headline caught my eye. They announced that they will be spending more than $18,000,000 to support candidates in races for Congress, Senate, state legislatures, and Governors.
I find that I'm suddenly conflicted. If I am to believe that they need more than one half billion dollars ($500,000,000.00) per year, how is it that they are able to suddenly find $18,000,000 to buy legislative races with. (Er... I mean to "support candidates.")
In a land where law enforcement and military personnel lose their government funded jobs if they merely express a political opinion, shouldn't a basic starting block for electoral integrity mean that if you get $500,000,000.00 in tax-payer dollars that you don't get to be politically active with those funds?
Call me crazy, but I don't normally go around trusting the advice or thinking of mass murderers. I find them to be genuinely flawed in most of their moral viewpoints.
Why we fund this cattle-call of infanticide I'm not sure. I mean there was a time when a civilized world treated those who harmed innocent children with the harshest of penalties and moral judgment. And since the overwhelming majority of abortions would never even occur apart from some baby-daddy or some other irresponsible man pressuring these women, let's call a spade a spade. It's killing for convenience.
But even if you're a progressive it makes horrible sense to support the on-going tax-payer funding of Planned Parenthood. After all we are ending the potential for the future of what the left wants. We are eliminating future tax-payers that we need to keep this big super-invasive-nanny-state afloat.
Why we allow them to do so with such racist outcomes (70% of abortions performed are on black children) I can't explain.
But why we let them buy elections with the money that you and I earned in our jobs this week is even too much for my mere human powers of deduction to grasp.
When will the madness stop?
“Women Are Watching”?! I got news for that tramp. So is God.
Government gives money to Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood gives money to Democrats.
Taxpayer is ripped off.
“... When will the madness stop? ...”
-
Indeed.
When?
The Left supports abortion, then wants immigration to replace those we kill? Makes no sense at all.
RE: “Babies aborted due to rape and incest: 1 in 149.”
I have always wondered about the accuracy of rape abortion numbers.
I have no doubt that rape abortions do happen.
However, I have never read a news story about a rape trial, or a rape conviction, where the victim had an abortion.
It seems like it would be mandatory that the DNA evidence from the abortion would have to be included in the court record.
Has anyone else here read a news report like that?
The states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend to support the barbaric mission of Planned Parenthood.
It is Called a RICO Statute investigation Racketeering IS against the Law...
I think the numbers are off a bit
abortion in the US is 1.2m PER YEAR... about 4.8m over the 4 years PP got the $1.9b
I have read a few stories about rape victims having abortions, and the fetal tissue being used to established paternity and convict the rapist.
I don’t think think any of the stories involved a stranger rape. Most of them were statutory rape and not forcible rape.
Victims of incest often have abortions - very often on the orders of the man abusing them. Even if they go themselves they are usually too ashamed or manipulated to tell someone and ask for help. And many abortion clinics operate like assembly lines - the girl would never feel as if she could ask for help.
Sad facts.
“Stranger rape” was my main point.
Sorry if I did not make that clear.
I’ve lived in several college towns.
Years ago I noticed that the number of campus “rapes” reported in college newspapers was always on the order of 10 to 12 times higher than the number of rape prosecutions reported in the local county.
That got me thinking about the number of rape abortions.
Combining stranger rape statistics with incest statistics immediately strikes me as deceptive.
I will speculate that there are many, many more incest pregnancies than stranger rape pregnancies, simply because incest frequently goes on over a long period of time.
Thanks for bringing up the statutory rape issue, which I had not even thought about.
That makes the 1 in 149 statistic even more confusing.
In the context of PP and the easy access to abortion at will, the issue is insignificant.
There are too many zeroes in that number. 1.9 trillion? Throwing around outlandish numbers doesn't help their case. Neither does not knowing how many a trillion or a billion is.
That is a long time and I don't think the number is outlandish
