By the way, on the Immigration Reform Senate bill S.744 that passed the Senate, Cruz voted NO.

Both senators from Colorado voted YES.

Get your facts straight.

You have lost a lot of credibility as far as I'm concerned.

I certainly do not believe that Cruz has betrayed his ideals. As long as he stays true he has my support.

2016 will be a pivotal election for POTUS. Cruz won’t be the candidate, at least I hope not. I very much like him, but we need him in the Senate. Ideally, we need a conservative governor to win. By conservative I mean a guy that loves the Constitution, recognizes that the government is way out of its Constitutional bounds and is willing to take long term action to put it back into place.

That’s a hard fight to win. We’re up against the recipients of hundreds of billions in federal largesse via the taxpayer. Major reform is difficult to enact as a revolution, but an evolution over two terms is possible.

That’s what makes 2014 such a critical year for the Congress. We need to strengthen the conservatives in the House and take over the Senate. The next President will sit through a massive economic boom simply by undoing the anti-business approach of the Democrats.

“I’ll believe my substantiated knowledge of Senator Cruz over your un-substantiated accusations.”

That’s your privilege.

I very much hope that you are right. We shall see.

“You have lost a lot of credibility as far as I’m concerned.”

Life is tough.

I’m busy today. A quick search didn’t find what I was looking for. I hope you are right, but I have a clear memory of hearing otherwise.

A single vote does not prove anything, either.

They will put up three or four conservatives to divide the vote like they always do. FR will melt down.

If Ted Cruz isn’t good for the Republican Party than neither am I. I’m already half gone. No new RINOs.

I left the Republican Party in January 2013 after 37 years of activism and donations. I have never felt better in my life than I do now. It took listening to Hannity and reminding myself that I'm a Christian and a conservative first, and looking at the party through that lens. I didn't like what I saw, it was ugly and it was foreign. The Republicans left me for the LEFT! A pox on all their Houses, now, I say.
