Walt Disney Company to cut funding to Boy Scouts of America over gay policy

The Walt Disney Company will cut funding to the Boy Scouts of America, beginning in 2015, because of a policy that bans gay adult leaders in the organisation.

In December the defence and aerospace giant Lockheed Martin said it would no longer donate to the Boy Scouts, because of the same policy. Last May, the California Senate voted to revoke the organisation’s charitable status.

The Boy Scouts organisation said it was “disappointed” by Disney’s decision, which will affect its ability to serve children, Deron Smith, a Boy Scouts spokesman, said in a statement on Sunday. Disney does not provide direct funding to the Boy Scouts but it donates money to some troops in exchange for volunteer hours completed by Disney employees, he said.

I challenged that thinking by simply stating that there are people groups that simply are not desirable because of their disorderly lives and values.

There already is a sodomy badge...sort of: This isn't an official badge, but scouts can order this online and wear it on their uniform...almost daring fellow scouts and leaders to be 'bigoted' enough to tell them to take it off. Its the brainchild of a high school classmate of mine...and fellow Boy Scout. And, somewhat ironically he worked at Chik-Fil-A throughout high school. I never had an inkling he was gay. He has no kids of his own, but around 5 years ago he tried to become a scout leader. They turned him down - because he was gay. And, he's become an activist ever since. Oh, when people buy this badge from him online, they are contributing money to his lobbying and court efforts. Before people ask, he is not somebody I would consider a friend. And looking back on it, he really didn't have any friends in high school. He has an arrogant and bossy air to him, and even when he was in a group, like the scouts, he operated on his own.

I have to agree and have long realized that there is no limit for the homosexual agenda. No matter what is allowed, it will never be enough. Each concession will just encourage the gay activists to push for more and more and more. Some activists openly talk about inter generational sex and that by not allowing it we are denying boys their “rights”.
As for Disney, I simply try to have as little interaction with them and ABC. To buy their products or watch ABC is to support people whose views are the opposite of mine.

Let's just say I won't be using any LM employees for references. As for their stock, it naturally went up with the F-35 project: but once DoD realizes its unaffordable piece of shit, in which they were gouged, it will plummet.

We sold our stock in Disney last year for just these reasons. Was a relief to no longer support these spineless cretins running Disney these days. Walt must be spinning in his grave seeing how his family values have been trashed.
