Sen. Roberts Is Privileged 'Or Something' To Represent Kansas GOPers (can't make this stuff up!)

Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) said he's has had the privilege "or something" of representing all kinds of Kansas Republicans through difficult times.

Roberts was asked in a recent interview with the Lawrence Journal-World about an accusation by his tea party primary challenger Milton Wolf who said that Roberts only claims to be conservative when "it's convenient for him."

"I can see how somebody might reach that assumption, given my primary opponent, and given all the attention being spent nationally on the Tea Party," Roberts told the Kansas newspaper in a telephone interview. "But we have quite a bit of Tea Party support. I've always had the privilege, or something, of representing the Kansas Republican Party over troubled waters, from moderates to regular Republicans or whatever you want to call it, to those folks who play pretty close to the right field line."

The Kansas Senate race for Roberts seat has recently begun to heat up. Roberts has had to deal with negative press about his residency while Wolf has suffered from recent revelations that he joked about graphic x-ray images that he posted online.

As a Kansan I want to know his residence address. Is it truly a rented recliner at a friend’s house? And if so, he is not fit to represent Kansans

I was so hoping to get rid of this old, wrinkled-butt RINO. But, I'm not as hopeful as I was at the beginning after it was revealed about the good Doctor's X-Ray stunt on the internet. What he did makes it look like he needs some intense therapy. What a freakin' dumb ass. ANOTHER TODD AKIN! Just damn!!!

I’m wondering if by “or something” he was thinking that he has been given the “God given right” to represent Kansas for life?

I just heard the most inane piece of garbage ad from Pat Roberts this morning. Made me shout “retire, you’re DONE” at the radio.

Something about how Dr Wolf posted XRays on facebook.

"from moderates to regular Republicans"

Ah ha, the key word from the Republican leadership "moderates". This is what the Republican leadership wants. That is why they use Liberal Moderators to weed out the conservatives.
