Hey, what’s another billion among friends?

Stunning. Maybe Moochelle will have to cut back a day of her China romp? Nah...

A fool and our money will soon depart. This why there the rest of the world looks at the US as a fading giant.

Yeah, the situation is not quite that simple, is it? The elected government was overthrown by those who wanted closer ties to the EU.

Russia, a nation that has many of its countrymen in Ukraine, moved to protect its interests. One might see a parallel between the Ukraine and Reagan’s view of Grenada....though Putin has not yet moved to overthrow the current government in Ukraine.

I also read Jews are being urged to leave the city and/or the country if they could because of this new government. So I don’t know?

If you google, “Jews urged to leave Ukraine”, you will get many stories on it, from credible sources. So I don’t think it should b dismissed as coming from Pravada.

$1B in loan guarantees. Ukraine is in arrears to Russia $1.3B for fuel.

Russia didn’t move to protect interests. They invaded a sovereign nation. The previous gov’t was overthrown because it was Russian, not Ukrainian. Since Russia wants and needs Ukraine, they will do anything to take it over.

Reagan attacked Grenada because students were held hostage.

Invading a sovereign nation is illegal. Why is that so hard to understand among the Putin supporters on this board? Can you explain that to me?

100 students tied for liberty and freedom in the streets of Kyiv, why do you need to slander them with lies?

Putin doesn’t strike me as someone stupid enough to take a billion dollar check from the US Government.

This morning I ordered a strong shopping cart with material instead of wide wire on it and it has two large wheels and a bar to stand it up so it won’t roll. I have to buy bags of potting soil mix for my container garden and I’m not strong enough to carry those from the trunk of my car through the house and into the garden.

I can also load my groceries in it and get those in the house in one trip instead of making several trips to the car. I put that cart with a price of $35+ on my Sears credit card. Guess what, I have to pay that. Now, Hussein can send Kerry to give 1 billion fake dollars to a foreign country and the US cannot even pay our own bills - we don’t have 1 billion to give anyone because we have to borrow it and can’t pay it back.

I’ve got $35+ to pay my bill but our country doesn’t have ONE BILLION DOLLARS. How in the hell can we give someone ONE BILLION COLLARS? If we gave them $35+ dollars, we don’t have that, either, we would have to borrow it. Every month the government can’t pay their bills so we borrow every month.

I have to pay income tax next month and the government wastes it - I so don’t want to give Hussein any money. If I didn’t ever pay, they could slap me in jail. What can we do to him if he borrows one billion to give away? Nothing as there is now no cap on his borrowing. I think, if I was president, I’d start selling government buildings across the nation and pay off the debt. Let the government workers work in tents until we get the debt paid. I’d stop every government program except the military and I’d dump the homos out of the military and every officer loyal to Hussein instead of the constitution. I’m pissed off and I’ll pay for my cart which is more than the government can do with their credit card bill.

The Ukraine owes Russia a debt of approx. 2 billion for prior gas purchases. Any guesses where the 1 billion will end up ?
