Kiev agitators 'trained in Poland' claims Putin
The News (Poland) ^ | 4 March 2014

President Putin claimed on Tuesday that "well prepared" and organized protesters in Kiev who brought down the Yanukovych regime were "trained in Poland and Lithuania".

In his first in-depth comments since the Russian parliament gave the green light for military action in Ukraine on Saturday, Vladimir Putin told a press conference in Moscow, "look how well they were prepared."

"They underwent preparation in bases in Lithuanian and Polish border areas, and [of course] in Ukraine itself. Their instructors were ready for a lengthy time, you saw how they were prepared, like special forces, they were even divided up into squads," Putin told journalists.

On Saturday, the vice-president of the Russian Federation Council claimed that "gunmen who took over power in Kiev were trained in Poland and Lithuania".

The Polish defence ministry categorically denied the accusations on Tuesday.

A confident looking Russian president said today that, "there can be only one assessment of what happened in Kiev, in Ukraine in general. This was an anti-constitutional coup and the armed seizure of power. No one argues with this," he said.

Putin said Russia reserved the right to use all options in Ukraine to protect compatriots living in "terror" but that Moscow would use force only as a last resort.

"As for bringing in forces. For now there is no such need but such a possibility exists," he said. "What could serve as a reason to use military force? It would naturally be the last resort, absolutely the last."

This morning I read reports of easily identifiable Russian provocateurs on the streets in Kiev, as well as about an organized Russian action on Internet forums in Eastern European countries.

I believe Mark Twain said, “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it sure rhymes.”

Well, nearly all of what was formerly called Eastern Euorpe (actually Central Europe) is worried by Putin’s actions. The pro-Putin dumby wing of know-nothing conservatism think Putin is a swell guy because Obama’s failing. Actually, Obama’s causing everyone to fail, and he and Putin share a statist dream.

Why don’t you pay attention on what you read on the net?

Svoboda have 36 seats in parliment

and

5 seats in the government.

A pox on their 41 houses!

Putin would like us to believe there are no Neo-Nazis in his own entourage. The thing that separates Nazis from Communists is hyper nationalism. If the nationalism is Russian, good. If the nationalism is Polish, bad. The thing is, Putin, being a strong and forceful leader, is gaining support internationally. He is seen as someone who actually does things rather than just talking about them.

I am seriously thinking these Russian (i.e., actually pro-Putin since Russia isn’t free or democratic) agents are here. I think they’re repeating his idiotic propaganda. I think they’ve log on names that sound American. I mean seriously how many Texans believe what the world really needs is an aggressive, shirtless, showoff thug who is a former KGB Colonel, and President-for-life, born again Russian dictator running the world even if it does make bozo in the White House look stupid too? I say none. Liberals do get all gooey eyed for a dude, but not real American men. There must be infiltration of pro-Putin types from Russia, possibly gays, who are trying to get out of prison in Russia by spouting pro-Putin crap on FReeRepublic.

The difference between Putin’s former communism and his own new found fascism is situational. He’s like Stalin. Stalin opposed policies so he could isolate certain people and crush them. Then, he took their policies and crushed his former allies. The only thing a Putin or an Obama believes in is opportunism and situational ethics to advance their own narcissistic goals.

A major case of indigestion for the bear, not to mention NATO involvement.

You are forgetting that the Germans will tell everybody not to fight. The metrosexual EU ruling class won’t go against them. Then what?

The Poles react viscerally to both German and Russian pressure, but they have some admiration for German cultural and economic achievements.

A Pole is surrounded by a German soldier on one side and a Russian on the other...Which does he shoot first? The German of course, "Business before Pleasure."

Shame on the Poles for upsetting this new hero of the idiot conservatives who cannot see that Putin and Obama are part and parcel of the same statis outlook.

There has long been a small vein of Pro Russia/Putin support here. I think it’s some kind of totalitarian fetish. Then there are a few posters with obvious ethnic allegiances. I find all of that support of that murdering KGB thug unbecoming of conservatives.

I agree. They worship power and heroes and never understand that restraint, rule of law (not men), self-control, property rights, respect for others, civil government, popular sovereignty self-rule, and such are what conservatives believe. Conservatism isn’t a choice between bozo Obama and Putin. That’s a false choice if there ever was one. Conservatives see both of those guys as unlike anything we believe in.

I can’t figure the end game of the Jewish spin and propaganda about Nazi’s in the Ukraine?

Really? People like you will never understand as long as you keep chasing after unicorns. Then again, people like you have their own insidious agenda.

Well, there you go. It’s all Poland’s fault. Poland is next again in Russia’s push back to the future USSR.

The nazis running Ukraine is a made up propaganda distraction. Go look at Israeli websites. It just isn’t a major issue in Israel. Then go to Russian websites and you will see all kinds of garbage about the Nazi Navy, etc.

You can see in this very thread there are some people unwilling to support Ukraine based on WW2 issues. They will never move past WW2 and parrot whatever small piece garbage they find.

That Poles and Ukrainians are playing for the same team is all you need to know about the character of their adversary. Only those with a separate agenda would be lending aide and comfort to a murdering KGB thug.

Try some facts, instead of the usual name calling that you liberals are so famous for when can't support your argument.

People like You

Who Me?

People like me are entertained for free when you libtards start your rants.

Go ahead, hold your breath, huff and stomp your feet, and scream raaaa-cism. But the facts don't support your argument.

Worship at the Czarist throne of Putin is no way to go through life.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

There are more old Communists than new ‘Nazis’ in Ukraine, just as the Communist murders have outnumbered WWII casualties by at least five to one, but shhh, don’t let anyone know, the Communists just want well, and the Nazis are evil.

What do you expect after 70 years of communist propaganda and indoctrination in our schools and media?! There haven’t been any ‘Nazis’ anywhere since 1945, while Communists murder and starve nations to this day.

RC, after the 2016 defeat of the Liberals in our country, it is my fervent prayer that we abolish the Department of Education, return schools to local jurisdictions, and begin to undo the damage of 50 years of NEAA disinformation by actually educating our children.
