Connecticut halts plans to round up firearms after finding most cops in the state are on the list

Connecticut has been making news due to their hastily passed gun registration laws. According to some sources as few as 15% of gun owners have actually registered their firearms. News Blogs have been warning state officials are talking about mass confiscations of the unregistered firearms.

Plans for these confiscations hit a snag when a legislative intern dared to ask a question. “Who will be going door to door to take all the guns away?” asked the 21-year-old college senior.

Reportedly multiple people in the room in the most sarcastic voices they could muster said “the police”.

The unnamed intern then pointed at the list and said, “my dad’s name is on the list, and he is the police chief. I see three other names on this list of family members, all cops.”

**No police officers or police administrators were willing to go on record for this story. Emails to members of the Connecticut legislator and Governors office were not returned by the time of publication.**

I have no veracity of this source.

Well, the Attorney General recently said to not enforce laws with which prosecutors said they did not endorse. Whom is to question him?

Perhaps you should doubt the source, but since it is unfavorable to the establishment, it’s not surprising it would come from a secondary source.

The good Gov will enlist the Conn. National Guard or ask odumbo to send in his jackboots to get the job done. I can only imagine the resistance they will meet.

What I don’t like of this report....we don’t know who the intern was, and when or where in the legislature that this supposedly happened.

This may be a satire piece. Dang! Sorry if it is!

“There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers — and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system.”

I emailed gov malloy and asked him to go out with me to the north end of Hartford (rough part of town) for a night of revelry without his bodyguard. They sent the state police to my house to ask did I physically threaten the gov.

“The good Gov will enlist the Conn. National Guard or ask odumbo to send in his jackboots to get the job done. I can only imagine the resistance they will meet.”

Ummm, I’m guessing the Conn NG gun profile pretty much matches the same as the Conn police. Typically, military personnel are conservative. I live way down here in Texas so when it comes to Conn just speculating.

I think the gun grab will be attempted by the Fed’s. Remember Obama stating (paraphrasing) “we can no longer count on our military, we need a service of our own, just as strong ~~”. Think I got the essence about right. Anyway, Obama seems to be militarizing Home Land Security and IRS. And, there’s always the good ole ATF who never saw a home they didn’t want to bust in.....

He’ll appear with our dreaded Governor/emperor.

With any luck gov will get the political appointment he’s kissing @ss for, and leave on AF1 with Hussein.

Decisions need to be made by everyone involved - from the office managers who type the orders to the judges who sign them. Will they be involved in this form of tyranny? It is not just the enforcers of unconsititutional laws, nor only those who vote to implement them. Others, in the vast bureaucracy that has become our state and federal governments, should be deemed equally culpable in any such pursuits.

Watch the video in post #12.

The bureaucrats are all tone deaf to the fact that the majority of people at this meeting are on the side of supporting the 2nd amendment.
