The deceased man found Nov. 30 at Holbrook Pond has been identified as Spc. John Joseph Beans Eubank, 29, a 3rd Infantry Division soldier assigned to Fort Stewart. Eubank, from Mt. Village, Alaska, was a motor transport operator in the 396th Transportation Company, 87th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 3rd Sustainment Brigade. He had deployed to Iraq three times and to Afghanistan once, returning from Afghanistan in May. He joined the Army in November 2003 and arrived at Stewart-Hunter in August 2004. Chaplain and casualty-assistance support have been extended to Eubanks family.
According to CID officials, the death investigation is ongoing, so no additional information will be released at this time.
The investigation into the death of Spc. John Joseph Beans Eubank, whose body was found Nov. 30 at Holbrook Pond, is continuing.

That’s a damned shame. If anything, I guess he was too trusting and loyal. I would have expected very bad eyesight or something. To be murdered by a slug like her after 3X Iraq and 1X Afghanistan isn’t something he deserved. She and her brother deserve the death penalty.
