Hillary Clinton: I’m Not Comparing Putin To Hitler, I’m Just Saying He’s Acting Like Hitler

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton referred Wednesday to Russian President Vladimir Putin as “a tough guy with a thin skin.” Clinton was speaking at UCLA where she added she supported the Obama administration’s efforts to reach a diplomatic solution in Ukraine.

Clinton reiterated comments she made at a fundraiser in California on Tuesday afternoon, where she compared Russia’s decision to issue passports in the Crimean region to the “population transfers” carried out by Nazi Germany before World War II.

“The claims by President Putin and other Russians that they had to go into Crimea and maybe further into Eastern Ukraine because they had protect the Russia minorities,” Clinton said Wednesday, “that is reminiscent of claims that were made back in the 1930s when Germany under the Nazis kept talking about how they had to protect German minorities in Poland, in Czechoslovakia, and elsewhere throughout Europe. So I just want everybody to have a little historic perspective. I’m not making a comparison certainly, but I am recommending that we perhaps can learn from this tactic that has been used before.”

Clinton addressed Putin and her knowledge of his world view at the event, as well.

... while, on the other hand, her own husband, William Clinton, actually DID act like Hitler when he killed thousands of Christians in Bosnia-Herzegovina 1995 and Serbia (including Kosovo-Metohija) 1999 to assist Islamic terrorists, and facilitated the resultant ethnic cleansing by the Islamic NATO allies in those two provinces -- the very same Muslim people whose grandparents were so supportive of the Nazis that they formed their own Nazi-allied military divisions.

The Nazis recruited two SS divisions from Yugoslavia's Muslim population: the infamous Bosnian 13th Waffen Hanjar (or Handschar) SS division, and the Albanian Skanderbeg 21st Waffen SS division. SS conscription in Yugoslavia during the war produced 42,000 Waffen SS and police troops.

The Encyclopedia of the Holocaust states: "They participated in the massacre of civilians in Bosnia and volunteered to join in the hunt for Jews in Croatia . . . The Germans made a point of publicizing the fact that Husseini had flown from Berlin to Sarajevo for the sole purpose of giving his blessing to the Muslim army ..."

Here is something that never occurred to me until my brilliant Libertarian friend emailed me this:(btw, I keep encouraging him to post on Freeper!)
Here’s his take on the Hitler comment....

“So now Hillary has compared Vladimir Putin to everyone’s favorite historic villain; who else but Adolf Hitler?

Now why should she choose Hitler when there is another historic villain who could serve just as well, Josip Stalin? Putin and Stalin both ruled much the same country. And Putin served Stalin’s organization that struck fear into all its citizens, the KGB. No, they had to dig out Hitler. (Not that others haven’t done the same. Bush compared Hussein to Hitler, also.)

Hillary and others compare Hitler’s annexation of the Sudetenland with its ethnic Germans to Putin’s grab for Crimea with its ethnic Russians. But any such comparison would bring interest in the horrors of communism which progressives such as Hillary, Barack and Pelosi still admire! That’s why. They want nothing to smear the great ideology they still, deep down, admire.

Don’t you know Stalin, Pol Pot and Mao were aberrations and not true representatives of socialism? “
