“President Obama has been the president most hostile to the nation of Israel in modern times” – this is the harsh if somewhat unsurprising verdict of firebrand Republican Senator Ted Cruz.
In an interview with Haaretz on the sidelines of the AIPAC Policy Conference this week, the former Texas solicitor general laid out the various counts of his indictment of Obama. The U.S. President, Cruz said, has undermined Israel’s national security as well as the “special relationship” between Israel and the United States. And Obama’s talks with Iran and relaxation of sanctions against Tehran “may well be setting the stage for the slaughter of millions of Israelis – or millions of Americans.”
Cruz says the U.S. has no business pressuring or criticizing Israel and he denounced Obama’s “hectoring” interview with Jeffrey Goldberg in Bloomberg this week. By publicly pressuring Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu while “praising” Iranian President Rohani and “moderating his tone” towards Vladimir Putin, Cruz says, Obama has U.S. foreign policy “exactly backwards.”

You don’t get a name like Hussein; you don’t spend your most formative years in an Indonesian Muslim school; you don’t write in your self-indulging autobiography you’ll “stand with the Muslims”; and your closest advisor is an Iranian borne America-hater and credibly say you are a “Christian.” Especially when you’ve been to a Christian church probably less times than you can count on your finger while in office.
Of course he is hostile to and a danger to Israel. How could he not be?
Hell ... he’s the most hostile president to AMERICA ever !

Obama sat under a pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel Rev Wright over 20 years. He must have agreed with the message to have stayed that long.
Of course you’re right, and I am too. In fact, ANYONE that questions his supposed ‘Christian Religion’ is right. He’s a Muslim through-and-through. I’d be surprised if there isn’t a prayer rug in his private WH residence.
He will back Israel into a corner, and they will reach out. But it won’t be with diplomacy. Get ready to see some glassed over cities in the mid East some time in the near future.
You’re probably right. But I also believe that the 2% or so Jewish population here largely aren’t the type of Jews that reside in Israel.
Obama is more hostile to both Israel and the United States than any leader of any nation in our country’s history.
