Bolton: ‘Our Biggest National-Security Problem Is Barack Obama’
National Review ^ | March 6, 2014 | Eliana Johnson

Posted on 03/06/2014 9:23:28 AM PST by MeshugeMikey

With the Obama administration grappling with a crisis in Ukraine, former United Nations ambassador John Bolton took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday and declared that the country’s “biggest national-security problem is Barack Obama.”

Bolton honed in on the terror attack in Benghazi, Libya, which he described as paradigm of President Obama’s foreign-policy failures because the president “has done nothing to avenge Chris Stevens’s death.”

On a thread about Obama’s problem with national security, you bring up a Republican as a problem. That makes it hard for people to decide whether you are a conservative or a liberal.

Ahhhh......now there’s the answer. You’ve been caught, so now you start calling names. No defense of what you wrote, just start calling names. Your response unmasks you.

And when America goes south, so does civilization around the world

Huh? The "culture" and lifesyles we're exporting and glorifying are telling the world "anything goes". The US has become all about undermining what's worth saving and replacing culture with sensationalism and family values with "anything goes".

Culture belongs to those who preserve it. It'll be preserved in countries that continue to embrace religious and ethical values.

You may disagree with cc's style bu6, but don't be dissing his conservative bonafides, especially being a mere 2011 n00b. IMHO.

Yah, well, how many Republican or Tea Party candidates got the cojones to run an “Impeach Obama” campaign? Seemed to work for those whacko LaRouchies in Texas. So steal a page from that playbook, ya knuckleheads.

I disagree with you on this. The GOPe are a bigger problem, IMHO, because they do the rotten things the Rats would do, only they put a Republican brand on the results. We get the blame when the plane invariably hits the ground.

If Republicans behaved in a conservative manner, you'd have a good point, but they don't. Especially the one in the picture holding the muzzleloader.

Americans are woefully ignorant of the fact that the name Barack Hussein Obama translated into American means: Trojan Horse.

Trojan horse for every and all enemies of the United States.

I guess that until we are ashes under the feet of our enemies, it will not dawn on most as to who and what Obama really is and what he is doing.

Those that call him incompetent have no clue, or are willfully refusing to understand what he is and what he is doing.

If you respond to the first post on a thread, then you are assumed to be responding generally. When you address your post specifically to someone further down the thread, then you are addressing someone particularly. Cripple creek addressed me specifically. I didn’t call him stupid. The thread is about Obama’s troubles with foreign policy. What does Mitch McConnell have to do with that? Cc made a specific comment to me that made no sense in relation to the thread. So, I pointed out that attacking a Republican on a thread about Obama on a conservative site makes it hard to decide if you are a conservative or liberal. It does. Not everyone at Free Republic knows cc and cc’s past posting history. He could very easily have started another thread about what a weasel Mitch McConnell is. I guarantee you, I would not have written him specifically with a post about Nancy Pelosi in reply. And I wouldn’t have used the word “stupid” in a flippant manner. While we all may not like McConnell’s voting record, how does bringing him up further the discussion on Obama’s awful foreign policy? It doesn’t. It detracts from the discussion. Whether he means to or not, cc’s post detracts and confuses the discussion about Obama’s awful foreign policy. It is like being in a discussion about The Super Bowl and cc joins in with a comment about how he doesn’t like his plumber. It might be true, but what does it have to do with the discussion? Most people would wonder where that comment came from and why he made it. Of course, a liberal would just make a comment like cc did to intentionally confuse the discussion. They do that all the time. It’s in their play book. And I don’t care how long he’s been on Free Republic. Our words speak for each of us.
