Yeah, I saw that in article after I posted. I agree about the suicide idea. That’s what I told my wife.
Guess she could have had enough money in her account to pay the electric bills for 6 years.
But why didn’t any one from work report her missing?
To who? There's been no family members that have reported her missing.............
As a side note, I worked in HR for my manufacturing plant in Detroit and can recall many employees who just stopped coming to work........We terminated them and just moved on and replaced them.
As a side note, I distinctly remember a black management trainee back in the late 70's who was from someplace in S. Africa and had tribal scars on both his cheeks.......One day he was at work and the next he was gone, never to be heard from again. While I can't prove it, I suspected he was called home to Africa to deal with whatever problems were occuring in his home town.......
Perhaps she lost her job; that might support the suicide theory.
But why didnt any one from work report her missing?

Yeah, good question.
Maybe she had gotten sacked the day she decided to end it all.
So very sad that there was nobody who even knew she was missing.
There was a story posted on FR about 2 years ago, I suppose. Some contractor went to a house to do work on it for the new owner and found what was believed to be the remains of the former owner in a closet. Can’t remember the details, but I think that there was nothing left but the woman’s skeleton and her cane. I would think that the new owner was not living in the house. Perhaps he did not intend to and was just going to flip it.
That story haunted me for a while, and I tried a search about a year later to see if any more information had been published about it. So sad.
