Fellow Conservatives:
Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has officially hit the panic button.
Mitch McConnell (R-KY)Despite telling the media for months that he's way ahead in the Republican primary race against conservative Matt Bevin (R-KY), Mitch McConnell is now lashing out with desperate attacks.
It started earlier this week with a deceptive campaign mailer that was designed to trick voters and to smear Matt Bevin. Here's how United Kentucky Tea Party described it:
"This past week the McConnell campaign sent thousands of mailers to Kentucky residents marked Fraud Alert without any identification as to who had sent the mailers. Kentuckians, concerned that their identities or credit card information may have been stolen, opened the mailers only to find that it was a political mailing from the McConnell campaign containing the same old mudslinging accusations that Senator McConnell has been trying to push for months now."
Now, Mitch McConnell has launched a new radio ad attacking Matt Bevin and conservatives like you, claiming that we are deceiving people. He's especially upset because SCF is running effective radio and TV ads that expose his record of voting for bailouts, more debt, higher taxes, and Obamacare funding.
We blew the whistle on his bailout hypocrisy and informed people that he was responsible for recommending the controversial liberal judge who just overturned Kentucky's ban on same-sex marriage.
Mitch McConnell is attacking conservatives because he's slipping in the polls and can't defend his record. He's done so much to help the Democrats that Harry Reid (D-NV) praised him this week after calling Ted Cruz one of the "crazies." Harry Reid said, "I like Mitch McConnell."
Fortunately, Kentucky Republicans have a conservative alternative.

Time for KY to do some early spring cleaning.
“Harry Reid said, “I like Mitch McConnell.”
The final nail in McConnell’s coffin.
When a RINOs cushy life time job is threatened, we see what kind of statement these office fixtures really are. It’s not pretty. We sorely need a strict limit of 12 years service for anyone holding office in both houses of Congress. That should be enough to get something done, and then go home to live with the laws they’ve passed. It should never be a career.
And the GOPe is funding a lot of the Bevin smears.
statement=statesmen (Apple strikes again.)

We can accomplish that with an Article V convention. And we can do THAT by electing ANOTHER ton of conservative legislators this November. I was very encouraged by the conservative wins in Texas this week. If we get a lot of conservatives nominated to legislative seats, and then elected in November, we can begin to go full throttle in reigning in the government.
Any recent polling on Bevin? Hope it’s good news.
I heard FreedomWorks say his trends are very similar to what they saw with Rand Paul and Cruz’s races when they were the underdog. I don’t know numbers, but I think he’s still a good ways back, but gaining. McConnell’s personal numbers atrocious. Bevin’s a good candidate, so I am cautiously optimistic. Knocking off a sitting senate leader is no small task, though.
I pray every night for Matt Bevin to win.
Ping.
“Any recent polling on Bevin? Hope its good news.”
There hasn’t been a poll since early February. In that one, Bevin fared better than McConnell. And right on cue, all of a sudden, Bevin’s signature on a document supporting TARP came out.
Don’t know how that’s going to play out, or McConnell’s vote to increase the debt ceiling, of the SCF’s radio and tv ads against McConnell.
But either McConnell is seeing bad internal polling or he’s not taking any chances because he’s just released new ads.
It’ll be interesting to see. And I’m watching closely.
DITCH MITCH!
This does not bowed well for McConnell who has a good committed opponent in a smaller state.
And didn't a Freeper yesterday post a video where he expressed his undying love for Hitlery in very clear terms? I thought he was going to wet his pants in the video.
No, we sorely need voters who can see and hear and give a damn about what goes on.
If McConnell loses, but the moderate GOP retains control, does that mean Cornyn is next in line to be the Senate GOP leader?
