Move over Barbie, there's a new doll in town that is making headlines.

This is Lammily – and she's being called "Average Barbie."

Her body shape is based on averages of data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

You can see in the above image that she's shorter and a little wider than the traditional Barbie.

I’ll tell you something else that’s going to happen, if it has not already occurred. You know that “Kiss Cam” that spots people at ball games, and features them in a quick kiss? It’s just a matter of time before some gay couple is featured. They’ll probably start by using two women. This may be a set up, by the kissers, just to get a negative reaction from the crowd,so they can then feign shock and disillusionment. Wait for it. It’s just a matter of time.

Is that the Samantha Power figurine? She’s much more handsome in real life.

I married a Barbie, long thick blonde hair, and a 36-22-35 figure at 5’7”, I think about 120 pounds.

You can guess who was always chosen as the audience member asked to come up on stage, or for the singer to sing to.

It always annoys me when they mock good looking women, and express hate for a doll representing attractive white women.

So, it is the Governments job to design dolls?

Of course, if you are a ‘cradle to the graver’, I do understand your position.

And the fact that YOU brought up over the top and foolish, just what does your statement have to do with a doll.

Looks pretty good to me, and I don’t have a problem with dolls that have “realistic” proportions either. My 3-yo daughter just got her first Barbies for Christmas, and while she likes them, I wouldn’t mind her having dolls that resemble actual humans instead or in addition.

My only gripe about this is that if you get one of these, you’re going to be stuck buying extra clothing and accessories from this one guy. At least Barbie has several “third-party” accessory suppliers, and there are actually sewing patterns out there to make doll clothing that fits her.

That’s funny. It’s like they decided to make a barbie that is normal, but make it as off-putting to girls as possible. Who wants to be “average”? Who wants a daughter named “lame”?

Barbie was first introduced in the 1950s.

I think the left has been going after the Barbie child’s toy for about 40 or 45 years.

The left never gives up.

That sure is true, they are making a doll that is like taking medicine, not the thing of dreams and childish girly fantasies, and fun.

I guess that is what the left does though.

That company should do a Hitlery Barbie - big hips, small breasts, big bootie, tree trunks for legs and a pant suit to cover it as best they can.

Thank god. Because we never see real women in real life. What a public service this is.

If that describes average burka sales should blossom!

If you average Leslie, Ann, Tanisha, Emma, Jane . . . . Add ‘em up and divide by the number of names. Amazingly, that’s what you get.
