Weekends are usually snoozers on Drudge. He frequently doesn’t do a dang thing on the weekends. Now the story’s there. You can always send a note to him or his assistants via the form on the site. I frequently use that to correct his grammar, LOL.

I have found that if you leave drudge up without refreshing, the page appears to refresh. But, if you reload the page, you get new info.

Russia Warns: Sanctions Over Ukraine ‘Will Hit US Like a Boomerang’

Russia said any U.S. sanctions imposed on Moscow over the crisis in Ukraine will boomerang back on the United States and that Crimea has the right to self-determination as armed men tried to seize another Ukrainian military base on the peninsula.
In a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned against “hasty and reckless steps” that could harm Russian-American relations, the foreign ministry said on Friday.
You are correct about weekends with Matt Drudge. One would think that, with all the money he saved in Florida without a state income tax, he should hire someone just to work from Friday night until Sunday night.
I was reading his site at 9:30 EST tonight and he listed the plane crash on top of his page.
You’re better off looking here for breaking news than Drudge.
You may be right about breaking news showing up here very quickly, but I like seeing that swirling siren with the red and blue lights. Yes, I know it’s all frosting on the cake.

When KAL 007 disappeared I was working the night shift and kept up with all that was going on from, “Missing”, to “shot down”, on the regular radio news years ago.
There are some thing s you will never forget.
I left the office almost three hours ago. Before I got on the cycle, my wife texted me and told me to check Drudge. It was there then. Big, red headline.
Maybe he’s on a Date or something! Nice to see he does leave his apartment once and a while.
