He did not go into the street. He was doing it from his front porch, facing the street.

The policeman was swearing loudly to someone on the telephone. An elderly woman walked by at the time this was happening.

The man who filmed this asked the policeman to tone down his language and the officer swore at him and told him to mind his own business.

If you read the article it is pretty clear.

Do you think NSA has a recording of it? It would not surprise me if they did.

The obvious solution is for women to hide cops beneath their skirts, an answer only a liberal could like.

I’ve come to believe that the rapid adoption of Google Glass-type technology is critical to our survival as a free people.

I see how you could feel that way, but if the government controls the tech sector like the NSA. They will just stifle the access to the data.

In my opinion, the best way to preserve our liberty is to DownSize DC! Close Entire Rogue/Unconstitutional Departments and move the Center-of-Gravity of the Fed Gov back toward the States. I believe it is TIME!

I don't see how that is wiretapping

If he was the person talking to the officer on the phone and recorded it, that would be wiretapping. What he was doing was videotaping somebody in public who has no expectation of privacy.

If this is wiretapping than most investigstive surveillance would be wiretapping, as well. Now that the evidence was erased, where is the proof in this case?

Black robed tyrants....

So let me get this straight. You get angry when judges legislate from the bench and now you’re angry because in this case, the ruled according to the law as written and DIDN’T legislate from the bench to rewrite the law?

Just out of curiosity...why would someone go out on the street and start videotaping a cop - or for that matter, anyone.

Why not? Free country..., even for bootlickers....

The Rodney King riots would have happened in an entirely different way if the LA cops used this Fascist tactic.

This is in MA.

A center of ComDem Insanity.

The Cops and their leaders feel they are above The Law, because of feeling empowered by Obozo.

Only problem, the rioters from that day are now a privileged class of citizen. Protected against their own actions.

That’s correct. I think he may have a solid case of false arrest and destruction of property.

OLD STORY
Woman gets pulled over for speeding, cop walks up and she is fidgety and nervous. He asks for license and registration and she hands to him and hears her mumble something about the trunk. He listens closely and hears her mumble about ‘the body in the trunk’. Cop goes ballistic, pulls her out of car and calls it in. Other cops arrive, open trunk and find no body, while cop is trying to explain himself another cop talks to the woman and when told what is going on she said

“Oh...I wonder what would possess him to do that.
I suppose that lying SOB said I was speeding to”....
