Eight months before the November 4 elections, Republicans have expanded the number of competitive races for U.S. Senate seats and have a growing chance of gaining control of that chamber and stalling Democratic President Barack Obama's second-term agenda.
Public dissatisfaction with the president, concerns about his healthcare overhaul and a sluggish economy, and a series of retirements by key Democratic senators in conservative states have made a rugged year for Democrats even more so, analysts and strategists in both parties say.

Worse, I remember Brown stabbing us in the back on some "fiscal issues" where he was supposed to be "with us" and he didn't even have an excuse that he "had to" vote with the RATs, since polls showed the GOP position enjoyed widespread support.
But as Impy notes, unfortunately there aren't any other opinions in NH right now. Personally I think NH conservative groups ought to meet with Brown privately and get an agreement hammered out that they will back his candidacy IF he promises to votes more conservatively on some key issues than he did when he was a Massachuttes Senator. (He doesn't even need to campaign on those issues, just quietly move rightward once elected) His liberal record may have been typical for a Massachuttes "Republican", but is it to the left of even the "moderate" Republicans in N.H.
