I thought we had an exit strategy. The healthcare system we had before zero care. Whenever govt. enters into the realm of private enterprise everything gets screwed up. Why the surprise.?
Medicare will consume the entire federal budget if not reformed. Over 40% of the costs of Medicare come from the General Fund. The HI payroll tax and Medicare premiums don't cover the true costs of the program. The average recipient get three times more in benefits than they contributed to the system. And we have an aging population that will increase costs just by their numbers.

That system is gone forever. The corporatists, insurance cos and the Dems are colluding to dump everybody on the exchanges. What happens when 1/4 or 1/3 of the population lose their employer health care? We’re talking 60-80 million people who will be demanding govt subsidized health care. What’s the plan for them?
