KELLER, Texas (AP) The brothers of a North Texas man who was aboard the Malaysia Airlines flight that went missing over the South China Sea said Sunday their family is leaning on faith and holding out hope for good news about the man they last saw about a week ago.
Philip Wood, an IBM executive who had been working in Beijing over the past two years, had recently returned home from Asia before his next assignment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Wood came back to Texas to visit his family before relocating to the Malaysian capital, his brother, James Wood said.

There were errors in the list so perhaps he never flew. But still, I’d think if he was living he’d have called them. He could well be in heaven now. Good news for him, but sad for a while for those from whom he has parted.

This is all so sad. I feel so bad for this family. My heart goes out to them, indeed.
I was wondering if our Dear Leader has issued any statement of hope or sympathy to the world and the families in regards to this tragedy. Have I missed any such words he's uttered since returning from his luxurious vacation?

Modern airplane wing. Probably ships waiting to unload at a busy port.
If the missing flight is in the Gulf Of Thailand it should be located pretty soon. The deepest part is less than 300 feet and it averages around 150.
The whole Gulf was above water in the last ice age.

Not yet, but I was shocked to see he has the Navy looking for wreckage. Surprised he would even go that far.
