Country remains polarized with more differences on the horizon
The Trentonian ^ | March 9, 2014 | L.A. Parker

The spitfire showdown between Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings and House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa last week underscored two prevalent themes woven through U.S. sociological fabric.

First, black men and white men remain polarized, perhaps more than ever.

Secondly, black men still feel a need to scream to be heard, and not just because the white guy controlling the panel’s microphone silenced his feed.

This United States ship lists in troubled waters. Our most recent disengagement reverts to a national election that raised Barack Hussein Obama into the White House in spite of his inability to gain major support from white male voters.

The president’s successful reelection made matters worse.

Republicans who had pledged to malign Obama’s first term as assurance he could never complete agendas started, were impaled again as the president claimed a searing victory over Mitt Romney.

Issa vs. Cummings is in reality Issa vs. President Obama.

In fact, Republican lashbacks against almost any Obama initiative, law, program, etc. serve up as transference, a dislike of circumstance that requires their taking orders from a “non-U.S. citizen.”

Furthermore, many of us have limited experience with black bosses.

Most Washington, D.C. politicians, white or black, have never had to accept a black man as leader or boss. So, imagine how such a reversal of worlds plays in their hearts and minds.

Obama may be celebrated by 52 percent of voters but that’s only two percent off a 50/50 split away from haters.

Internet comments highlight anti-Obama sentiment as almost any topic invokes our president’s name.

This phenomena would sound comical if not for such hatred shown toward President Obama.

Start an interactive conversation about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and almost instantly someone moves off topic with an around the world comment that New Jersey’s governor was not responsible for American deaths in Benghazi.

Discuss Sarah Palin and Tea Party followers will distract with talks about Obama lacking the strength of Ms. Alaska.

The anti-Obama faction employs pit bulls like Ted Nugent to call our president a “subhuman mongrel” or offer an invitation for Obama to “suck on my machine gun.”

Right winger Bill O’Reilly continued his anti-Obama onslaught with a Super Bowl Sunday interview that skewered Obama with a disrespectful tone.

Since Rep. Joe Wilson compromised decorum with his shouted “You lie” while President Obama delivered a State of the Union address, criticism of the president has been a no holds barred affair.

“This is not something we’ve seen before during a presidential speech,” offered Norman Ornstein, a political scientist.

This is not a suggestion that all Obama detractors hold no legitimate opposing views but many Republicans fight the president on every word.

Plus, Obama shows no significant connection with the white male demographic having claimed just 1 out of every 3 votes in that category.

An admiration grows for Obama as he proceeds without attaching race to attacks but many of his supporters understand their candidate’s circumstance.

The showdowns and dust ups will continue as Obama moves toward lame-duck status.

As President Obama completes his second term, a mother of a successor appears on the political horizon.

Former First Lady Hillary Clinton may follow the first African American president into the White House

A first woman president will continue to showcase the greatness of these United States.

However, one can only imagine the fallout of such an achievement.

Men willingly accepting instructions from a woman after being guided for eight years by a black dude?

“Most Washington, D.C. politicians, white or black, have never had to accept a black man as leader or boss. So, imagine how such a reversal of worlds plays in their hearts and minds.”

As Obama’s flip-flopping (most visibly on “gay marriage”) has shown, he is nobody’s “boss”; without congressional support (with its white leadership), he is inconsequential. Obama works for the white liberals who created and funded him; he represents whatever they demand.

Blacks in particular have come to realize that Obama is in fact a white liberal...

A chicken-eater?

Anyhow, this is sad. (I could say that about 95% of the articles on FR, I guess.)

We talk about barf alerts but this really needs to be a weep alert. The Democrats have NOT raised “black America” to high honor. The Democrats have used “black America” as abject pawns begging for more and more goodies.

Republicans disagreed with that vision in Abraham Lincoln’s time and they disagree with it now.

More disgusting stuff. A new vision of God is the only thing that will pull the pity party back to sanity.

The Democrats have NOT raised “black America” to high honor. The Democrats have used “black America” as abject pawns begging for more and more goodies.

It's worse than that.

The Left has succeeded in weaponizing one-eighth of the population. The merest hint of their boiling out of the urban kraals has changed the course of national elections, and had gotten inside the decision loop of the recent government shutdown in October of 2013. As author and former Navy SEAL Matt Bracken observed after the EBT card shutdown on 12 OCT:

This was a test of the National EBT Shutdown System. This was only a test.
A test, and a very dangerous warning shot to the GOP to accede to Obama’s demands for an infinite debt limit increase, “or else.”
The “or else” is an EBT system shutdown, and cities on fire from coast to coast.
All blamed on those Evil White Racist Republicans, who wouldn’t give Obama his money, and made little babies go hungry. Damn those evil white racist Republicans! That’s the game plan.

Five days later, the shutdown ended.

Never Apologize to a Liberal

Never apologize to anyone if you didn’t do anything wrong. Parents often make the mistake of forcing their children to apologize for something their child never did in order to keep the peace. It never works. If you have to go through life apologizing to people who have no regard for your integrity, then you are a slave to other people.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa apologized to Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland. Here’s how the story was reported:
