MH370 detected above Malacca Straits at 2.40am

The search for Malaysian Airlines MH307 plane has been expanded to Sumatran waters, north of Straits of Malacca, as military radar may have detected the missing plane in the vicinity of Pulau Perak.

A Berita Harian report today quoted the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) as saying the plane may have reversed course further than expected while on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

Air Force chief Rodzali Daud ( left ) is quoted as saying that based on military radar readings from its station in Butterworth, MH370 may have turned west after Kota Bahru and flew past the east coast and Kedah.

"The last time the plane was detected was near Pulau Perak, in the Straits of Malacca, at 2.40am," Berita Harian quotes Rodzali as saying.

This contradicts with earlier reports that the aircraft had disappeared from radar screens 120 nautical miles off Kota Bharu and over the South China Sea, at 1.30am on March 8.

The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) had previously said the search for the Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, which is missing for the fourth day, had previously been focused around the waters between East Malaysia and Vietnam.

I noticed also that the lower portions of the two photos were identical. Maybe authorities are hiding that one of them had a cast or prosthetic leg?

Also, remember that this aircraft was flying in the early hours and it would still be dark. It could've landed somewhere or crashed into a land mass, possibly a remote coconut grove or small uninhabited island difficult to spot.

The idea that the plane might have been flown to Banda Ache (sp?) is crazy conspiracy stuff BUT it just might have happened. In today’s world, the line between fact and fantasy isn’t all that clear. ;-)

Google should update its satellite maps so people can look for wreckage or the aircraft if crashed on a land mass. I mean, why not? Images say ‘2014’ but when?

Since Google gives the NSA all of its user data, the least the NSA can do is to update Google Maps hourly from its satellite data. It's simple reciprocity. We've printed trillions of dollars to pay these guys and all we get is lousy second hand intelligence through Ed Snowden. Get Ron and Rand on this now.

Google IS and always has been the gubmint, just like Facebook. The figureheads are gubmint operatives who promote the products for civilian use. “Hey stranger, would you like a cookie?.. And while you’re at it, make a Facebook profile and tell us ALLLLLLLL about you.. and be sure to use Google search function for ALLLLLLL of your Internet gun and ammo purchases”

Mine too..everyone does..when the phone is turned off it goes directly to voice mail, and when your on a plane they tell you to turn off your cell phone so why would this guy’s phone be on(Or on vibrate) unless he either forgot to turn it off while in flight or he turned it on

Nonsense. Simple placement in Power Point.

Not everything is a conspiracy.

#82 “I think the left man simply had an upper-only pix, and this poster or whomever it is holding it up simply plopped that pix on top of already-posted full pix of other man. Power Point carelessness.”

I don’t get it. I’ve looked at it plenty of times and I see nothing funny about Macaca.

“Military tracked missing plane for at least 100 miles after it vanished from civilian radar - and are sure it made it to Malacca Strait, Malaysian source reveals”

Okay. Fine.

They have had this info so why did they allow the search to be conducted in a very unlikely part of the ocean for 3 days before revealing it. I don’t recall reading this anywhere before.

Why do both men have the same lower region in the photos? Those are two top halves of different men, but the green pants and shoes — and floor tiles are from one person.

Hi GMO - Whoa! Awesome catch!

May be something or not, just have to wait and see....I heard on tv/read on the net that lots of people use stolen/fake passports to escape their home countries for a better life or be used for bad means...we just do not know what happened.

Was there Anybody with the last name of “Bond” on the flight? Perhaps sitting in row # 007?
