Reid again attacks Koch brothers (& climate change deniers)
The Hill ^ | 3/10/14 | Ramsey Cox

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) used an all-night climate change campaign in the Senate to once again bash Charles and David Koch.

“It's time to stop acting like those who ignore this crisis — the oil baron Koch brothers and their allies in Congress — have a valid point of view,” Reid said Monday evening. “But despite overwhelming scientific evidence and overwhelming public opinion, climate change deniers still exist. They exist in this country and in this Congress.”

Sens. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) are leading an all-night Senate session to discuss the importance of climate change. More than 20 other Democrats participated right off the bat, including members of leadership.

Recently, Reid has increased his attacks against the Koch brothers, accusing them of trying to “buy” American elections for Tea Party candidates with the billions they’ve made from oil.

Reid said it’s time the United States increase its use of renewable energy sources and stop using fossil fuels.

“We have the ability to reduce our reliance on oil and other fossil fuels, increase our production of clean energy and create good-paying jobs that can never be outsourced,” Reid said.

I admire one thing about Reid, he uses his position to attack Republicans. He doesn’t attack Democrat voters. He caters to them.

Yeah, I yearn to have a Senate leader that doesn't hate our guts. How nice it would be....

Reid has been really whacked out lately. He blamed Rep’s and now the Koch brothers. Hell, there are at least 50-60 plus DEM contributors bigger/deeper pockets then the brothers.

If I had the kind of money the Kock brothers have and Reid was slandering me, I would make his life a living hell.

Sounds suspiciously like Stalin denouncing Trotsky.

I was thinking more like Mao initiating "the cultural revolution."

And recall, that was his attempt to "save face" for "the Great Leap Forward."

It’s his only retort to the ads AFP is running against the demon rats that rammed thru obamacare.

He can’t use facts to battle the ads because the facts only hurt his case.

So the weasel resorts to telling lies in the well of the Senate b/c he knows he is immune from being sued while running his mouth there

This theater has become so absurd, we now have an all night spectacle of the Democrats protesting against themselves for not passing legislation that has not been written.

Despite overwhelming scientific evidence that climate change is caused by the Sun and not mankind, Reid continues to spout utter nonsense.

A good thing about science is that it is true whether or not you believe it, regardless of "overwhelming public opinion."

Reid is good at name calling and blaming others for his stupidity. He is a Democrat.

Reid is protected from any and all slanders and libel on the floor of the senate. He grabs the headline “EVYIL KOCH BROTHERS” then back-peddles in some Searchlight Nevada paper “well, I’m not sure what I said was true or not.”

Reid is a disgusting treacherous evil little man. How stupid are the people in Nevada?
