The Air Force Academy removed a Bible verse posted on a cadet's whiteboard after it determined the posting had offended other cadets, a spokesman for the academy said.
The cadet wrote the passage on the whiteboard posted outside his room. "I have been crucified with Christ therefore I no longer live, but Christ lives in me," the verse from Galatians read.
Mikey Weinstein, director of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, told me 29 cadets and four faculty and staff members contacted his organization to complain about the Christian passage.
"Had it been in his room - not a problem," Weinstein told me. "It's not about the belief. It's about the time, the place and the manner."
He said the Bible verse on the cadet's personal whiteboard created a hostile environment at the academy.

I am so sick of this crap!!!
Mikey has had his ass kicked if I remember correctly, right before he embarked on this crusade. His attacked should have kicked his vocal cords in.
Get Mikey to do it. He hates everything.
Christians have faced much worse persecution than this... and managed to always turn the other cheek. Just sayin’.

I won't deny that somebody is unconstitutionally creating a hostile environment at the Academy.
“Allahu akbar” would have been okey-dokey, though.
I am sure it would have.
Many, if not most of these cadets, are Christian and neither this action nor any other prevent the cadets from worshiping their God as they wish. But they aren’t all Christian and they don’t all worship God or anything else. They are there to learn leadership skills and character, and it doesn’t take a Christian to be a leader of character. There is no reason to cloud their non-religious mission with proselytizing. It’s not a Christian institution, nor should it be.
I read up in this chump. It says he, along with his two sons, are all USAFA graduates. He looks like a grand stander. I knew quite a few USAFA grads in my career. I think the majority of Academy grads would not have a very high opinion of him. While I don't wish it on anyone, there is coming a day when he will have to stand before the same God he vehemently opposes. It won't be pretty.
At this point about 500 (or more) cadets need to ask that they leave the AFA immediately.
“He said the Bible verse on the cadet’s personal whiteboard created a hostile environment at the academy.”
But the ability of the complaints to silence a fellow cadet supposedly does not create a hostile environment??? They are NUTS!!!!!
If the Christian cadet wanted he could counter claim I am sure that dozens of things others post of their white boards make for a “hostile environment” towards him, while at the same time I am sure the officials would refuse to act in his favor on his complaint, if he lodged one.
You seem to have misinterpetted my post...
Sad to say that I have lost all respect for our military. Between the transgender celebrations, promoting homosexuality, and the suppression of Christianity, the bowing down to muslims, there isn’t much left to respect.
Obviously, the US Air Force is trying to make sure that all of its planes are crewed after the Rapture of the Church! ;-)
Nope, I think we are thinking along the same lines. I wasn’t taking issue with you at all.
Do they need to tear down the Chapel there also. That might be a hostile sight to this nimrod as well!
