It is difficult to estimate the number of cases involving human trafficking in Virginia since many cases probably go unreported and there are a plethora of charges that fall under human trafficking, such as prostitution, extortion, receiving money for procuring a person, cruelty and injuries to children and abduction.
The Polaris Project tracks the number of phone calls the National Human Trafficking Resource Centers hotline receives, but it is important to note that this is not a completely accurate way of tracking human trafficking because any citizen can call the hotline for information, and not all victims call the hotline.
According to the 2013 January June Report (pdf), there were 14,898 reported calls throughout the country from January 1 to June 30, 2013.
A total of 375 came from Virginia. Of those 375 phone calls, 93 calls (or about 25 percent) were high risk. 68 calls (or 18 percent) were tips and 27 calls (or 7 percent) were labeled as a crisis. There were 63 cases that referenced a potential trafficking situation. 36 cases were sex trafficking; 22 cases were labor trafficking; two were classified as both sex and labor trafficking and three labeled as other/not specified. Of the survivors reported, 65 percent were adults and almost 27 percent were minors. Over 82 percent were females and 14 percent were male.

Ya know this administration says an old white guy like me is responsible for slavery and racism.
Never have known about marketing people for any reason.
But hey, old white guys are responsible for everything bad, just ask obammy and his minions.

While genuine “human traficking” is a legitimate concern, I’m starting to see a blurring of lines between that and “illegal aliens working without paying taxes playing the role of victims”...
What happened to this case ?
Possible Human Trafficking Investigated at Saudi Diplomatic Compound in Virginia

We ultimately took those potential victims out of that situation, Torres said. Theyre safe now, being interviewed by our agents and victim witness coordinators.
The investigation is in its very early stages and complicated by the possibility that some of those involved may have diplomatic immunity, said a State Department spokesperson.

Probably every titty bar and every biker bar are full of under-aged, over makeup’d girls on drugs and working as prostitutes. My buddies in college just loved these environments, but the few times I went with them, I couldn’t bear how unhappy these women were. They all had the same story, their dad was colonel/general/politician. They’re working their way through college for a PhD in psychology/medicine/business.
We had a woman that represented some organization (I forgot), speak at our church. She said Seattle had one of the highest problems in the country for human traffic. Probably because it is a seaport.
It would be interesting to know what percentage of pimps were black, white, hispanic, and asian. That information would be telling...
Good question, that involved 2 Philippine girls brought into the US by the Saudis as “workers”, and one slipped out through a crack in the Saudi mansion gate. Va. Frank Wolf got involved, but have not heard any result in the case, my guess is diplomatic immunity, and our leaders in the Executive Branch are not going to go after their Saudi buddies. Bush didn’t and Obama won’t,of course.
This is a home that is gated with security.
I posted photos of the home and a possible link.
Angkor Wat.
A notorious place in Cambodia for human trafficking.
I don't have the links in front of me.
Law enforcement are either Clueless or indifferent.
I think they are indifferent.
Horrible communication skills. Works very slow. Doesn't abide by the approved plans which causes major delays and failure of inspections. Quality of work is low. I would not recommend this company!

And yet they are doing “work” at the Saudi home ?
