I loved Frozen and will purchase it when it’s released.

Ted Behr runs a popular movie review site for Christians.

http://www.movieguide.org/reviews/frozen-2013.html

A snippet of his review:

(CCC, BBB, V, M) Very strong Christian, redemptive, moral worldview stresses love is sacrifice, family, scenes in a church with a church choir, a song about loving people even with their faults, trolls ordaining a marriage with a book (book does not have wording), with some magical elements, but magic is seen as bad; no foul language, one mention of being “gassy”; some animated violence, including woman hitting man in the face, men fighting a large snow man, characters fall from great heights but are not harmed; no sex but one kiss; no nudity; no alcohol; no smoking nor drug use; and, the villain lies.

It’s a loose paraphrase of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen.” This story had eluded scriptwriters for years.

The actual Andersen stories often bring in explicit Christ figures. Andersen was an interesting figure. Abused as a youngster bent on story writing, he clearly understands the implications of Christ and perhaps his stories are all the more poignant for his suffering. He was reportedly bisexual by desires, but never consummated any kind of union.

Right, agreed on all points. I loved ‘The Snow Queen’ as a child along with all his work. One of my favorites is still ‘The Fir Tree’ which is impossible for me to read aloud to the end.

He certainly has the pathos of one who has been there and done that. I believe he was a believer, and went to heaven. God does not judge us on how we feel, but what we do with the Lord.

I seen it, I didn’t pick up on any of that and I’m pretty good at finding the PC and pop BS stuff in movies.

I thought this was a thread about a frozen Al Gore!

That would make for a very interesting modern Andersen tale. After panicking half the world, he is found beneath 20 feet of permafrost.

I liked this line “You’re getting married? you have only known him for 2 hours!!!!”

My little town doesn't even have a public movie theater. And if it did, what would be worth watching and how affordable are ticket prices these days? There are still a few places online where one can watch genuine classics, as well as more obscure and cult movies of the past.

My only concern is that it's yet another animated movie that doesn't look like a traditional cartoon. I know that no one does cel animation anymore, but animations can still look like cartoons. Why have American studios stopped making them?

PS: That is one hawt babe, especially in the final scene as she looks at the viewer. Despite the title, I find it's getting kinda hot in here . . .

Wait a minute, Hans Christian Andersen? What’s it based on, “The Snow Queen?”

Yeah once again, thats why all those companies spend billions on advertising. Watch a movie lately? Noticed all the product placement?

Your wallet does.

Nope, it doesn't. From the looks of it this "pastor" simply spews out allegations without providing any sort of substantive reference to back his claims up.

From the article, the claim of homosexuality originally came from another news article (just as it was homos themselves who saw a wink and a nod in the purple Tellietubby and ran articles about it before the "religious nuts" made the claim).

And the bestiality claim is explained in the article linked in this thread.

Swanson's broadside was inspired by a blog on the National Catholic Register entitled So, How Gay IS Disney's Frozen? in which the NCR's film critic Steven D Greydanus had argued the film is full of "gay-culture themes". These include the solitary nature of the protagonist Elsa, her lack of interest in her male suitors, and the Oscar-winning song Let It Go. which shows Elsa "celebrating her acceptance of her true identity". Greydanus also points to a brief glimpse of a "gay family", that belonging to trading post owner Oaken.

Bestiality was identified by Greydanus in the relationship between hunter Kristoff and his reindeer Sven, as contained in a line from The Fixer-Upper Song: "His thing with the reindeer/That's a little outside of nature's laws!"

Disney's former CEO was an out faggot. There are homos in Walt's kingdom. This includes ABC.

I haven't seen the movie and I don't trumpet televangelists. I just don't care that the UK Guardian lefties are having a tizzy and others agree based on hysteria.
