OD, I’ll bet!
Lets keep this civil...
Sad. Condolences to the Corzine family. RIP.
Yeh, kid ain’t the old man.
If drugs were involved, people need to remember that NOBODY wants to be an addict.
Sure, people make bad choices and pay for them, but I’ve long dispelled with pleasure from the pains of others.
Could be. Best drug counslors are usually the ones that have been there.
I read on another thread just today, that Jeffrey C. was somehow tied into the investigation of obama’s birth certificate, being conducted by Arpio’s posse.
Hope his family finds solace.
The kid aint the father...
Who did his dad cross?
Is Dad out of jail yet for that MF Global fraud...oh wait he’s a Democrat....
Details surrounding Jeffrey Corzines death arent immediately known. According to a source, the younger Corzine had been working as a drug counselor at a well-known Malibu, Calif., treatment facility. He himself had struggled with substance abuse in the past but was believed to be sober, the source said.
He had pulled his life together and was doing well. Its very sad, the source said.
Corzine had been working as a drug counselor at Promises, a well-known drug treatment facility in Malibu, and was also an aspiring photographer.
Corzine, the youngest of the three children the former politician had with ex-wife Joanne Corzine, was a frequent presence during his fathers successful campaigns for governor and lovingly stuck by his dads side after he was badly injured in a 2007 car wreck.
Don’t care for Corzine, but I’m sorry he lost his son; do not wish that pain on anyone.
Democrat = Overdose
Pray America wakes up
Very sad....I have four sons and can’t even comprehend burying one....
however, it all starts with brushing with danger and chaos...that's the first mistake....some people can not recover...
as far as this young man goes, it is sad.....but for his father, its a great example of somebody having it all....power....all the money...the immunity to any consequences....except the most important one....your own children....lost.....
karma or something...a very teachable moment in humility I guess.
It’s the mother who I feel for!
Neither was the first-born son of Pharaoh...
My sympathy to the family
I met him a few times years ago, but I don’t really remember much about him.
Boy wasn’t even a celebrity, why shouldn’t we all care less (sic)?
“Promises, a well-known drug treatment “
Celebrity Rehab place?
Angel of death went through the homes of the corrupt.
And the families destroyed by John Corzine.
...but he may have been harmed by the father's parenting values. Jon Senior is a major jerk. He shifted risk onto clients to build up his ego for a second run as a financial swinging dick. I suspect his personal life suffers the same morality flaws as his public, financial life.
Good advice. It's very tragic to lose a child no matter what the age.
I extend my sympathy. No lovjng parent wants this. Just when you think you don’t need to worry about them anymore.
Bad stuff drugs most never get of it
The Corzine family reads Free Republic? Who knew?!
Or he knew where the money Corzine stole was hidden and somebody didn’t want him to talk.
I know many people, who use recreationally, who laugh at the prospect of become addicted. However, I know of no addict who doesn’t regret having experimented.
Promises, a well-known drug treatment
Promises Rehab: Where the Stars Go to Get Sober
Dorm like rooms, shared bathrooms, 6:45 a.m. wakeup calls: it’s not boot camp, it’s rehab at Promises Treatment Center, where celebrities including Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Robert Downey Jr. have come seeking treatment for substance abuse. ABCNews.com recently toured the grounds of Promises’ centers in Malibu and Los Angeles, Calif. to get a sense of how celebrities undergo rehab. Pictured here, the main house of the Malibu facility. Sins of the father.....?
His father’s millions can’t get him out of this mess.
Well, I wouldn’t want to repay the father by wishing ill on the family.
Restitution from Corzine’s fat bank account to the MF Global investors, combined with a jail sentence and a ban from all future securities industry work would have been enough for me, especially if it had happened in a timely manner.
No one wants to be an alcoholic either. I didn’t. Twenty-four years sober I still don’t. It’s still out there. I’m sober today but for the grace of God and AA. Sorry for Mr. Corzine’s loss. If drugs or alcohol were involved the sad reality is some make it and some don’t. Rigorous personal honesty insures one will make it, if one can be that honest. He’s beyond any more hurt now.
Me too. No mother should have to bury her son. Poor woman was married to an a$$hole who publicly humiliated her, and dumped her after 33 years of marriage. Remember the half-a-million mortgage loan he gave his then girlfriend, union head, Carla Katz? He later forgave the loan, and paid the gift tax she would have had to pay on it. Katz was the President of the union that represents NJ State employees.
Too bad the results of drug use aren’t viewed by most as the equivalent of driving over a cliff, or ramming into a tree at 100 mph. Nobody would do those things even once, “just to experiment”, but only if he had a death wish (or was on drugs).
Drugs are like voting demoncrat. Lots of others are doing it, it makes big promises and gives out rewards, and any destructive long-term effects are lies made up by uptight people out to ruin a perfectly good time.
Schadenfreude is false joy and will always bite back.
Corzine is pond scum who should be crushing rocks at Leavenworth.
“Dont care for Corzine, but Im sorry he lost his son; do not wish that pain on anyone.”
Ditto. Kids must be off limits. My condolences to the Corzine family. May the grace of god ease your pain.
