Funny how the First and Second Amendments complement each other.
“The first words out of the police chief’s mouth were ‘How can you help us with this?’”
Interesting way to phrase it. You get threatened then they ask how YOU can help THEM. I have some suggestions:
1- The cop who wants to kick in citizen’s doors gets fired.
2- The chief announces that his department will never comply with orders to invade people’s home to confiscate arms which were previously legal.
3- The chief will order training for all officers on how to interact with citizens who are legally carrying a firearm and to not instantly react to the sight of a citizen with a weapon with deadly force.
“has been placed on 24-hour guard due to threats on his life”
Another big mouth cop that ain’t near the bad ass he thinks he is. He’s quite the big man hiding behind a badge and a gun.
I hope that "Pro-Gun Veteran" can cool things down. My suggestion is that he should write the legislation for the CT legislature to repeal this evil, unconstitutional, and dangerous law. That would cool things down better than anything else imaginable.
Funny how fast reality sets in on these morons when they realize the sheep are biting back.
Let the neighbors that don’t have guns know that cops don’t always get the address right and they hate barking dogs. Tell them they had better cower inside because if the raids come anyone outside in the immediate area could be an oopsie. Such will be life in a police state.
Waiting for the clue deprived to come in here and try to tell us that they still think cops are their friends. The ONLY difference between this cop and all of the other...? The level of enthusiasm for raiding your home to kill you. ALL of them will follow orders to raid the homes of gun owners. Their paychecks, benefits and pensions are way more important to them than your rights.

A nut would give his left nut, huh.
Well, something has gone rotten in the state of Connecticut. Even if sanity does come back to Hartford, this has illuminated a large potential problem.
That’s God’s way in a lot of cases. There are many warnings before the brimstone falls.
GOOD!
