New:Newer;Newest:Missing plane: Piracy Theory Gains More Credence

Piracy and pilot suicide are among the scenarios under study as investigators grow increasingly certain the missing Malaysia Airlines jet changed course and headed west after its last radio contact with air traffic controllers.

The latest evidence suggests the plane didn't experience a catastrophic incident over the South China Sea as was initially suspected. Some experts theorize that one of the pilots, or someone else with flying experience, hijacked the plane or committed suicide by plunging the jet into the sea.

Anyone hear the Mary Schiavo (sp.) person correct Hannity when he said “If a pilot, ..... he could...” She then said “He or SHE! In this case, it is a he...” Was that really necessary, lady?

With the investigation dragging on, and both Rolls Royce and Boeing involved and committing costly resources to it, look for Rolls Royces and Boeings go up in prices after all this is over.

If this plane did not suffer a sudden demise, there would have been at least some cell phone communication indicating a hijacking or a general problem, no? The fact that no human voice communication whatsoever regarding conditions in the air were received on our end points heavily to a catastrophic event that prevented the same. Instant depressurization, for example. That this plane is safely parked somewhere is, IMO, highly unlikely.

The New York Times, quoting American officials and others familiar with the investigation, said radar signals recorded by the Malaysian military appear to show the airliner climbing to 45,000 feet (about 13,700 meters), higher than a Boeing 777's approved limit, soon after it disappeared from civilian radar, and making a sharp turn to the west. The radar track then shows the plane descending unevenly to an altitude of 23,000 feet (7,000 meters), below normal cruising levels, before rising again and flying northwest over the Strait of Malacca toward the Indian Ocean, the Times reported.

If true... then this sounds like the planes pilots were not flying it at this point.

Not sure about that. The phones may have been confiscated early on.

>>>Ridiculous. It was not a suicide flight. They’d have crashed it where they were. no reason to try and avoid radar and fly for hours.

Agreed. Heard that earlier and thought "no way." Why go through the trouble if disabling the ACARS system. That takes a little doing. No need for that if it was suicide.

Putin tells Bronco, “I can steal a Boeing 777 out of mid-air fag-boy”

Bronco tells Putin, “No you can’t”

The Strait of Malacca is the busiest shipping lane on the world. Last I sailed through there, 1980 or so, there were hundreds of ships lined up like rush hour.....I am most certain floating debris would have shown up by now.

What I want to know is this whole “Payne Stewart” theory, can this plane, with everyone on board dying from hypoxia, still fly, for five hours, and make those weird altitudes, and of course making turn after turn after turn.

Whenever I see Schiavo’s mug I remember TWA 800 this chick refuses for whatever reason to believe that even for a second that something fishy happened here..she parrots the same line “Mechanical Failure” over and over again

Nope. Auto Pilot is completely ruled out.

So we can rule out the hypoxia “Payne Stewart” theory that some have suggested may have happened..that everyone on board died due to decompression and the plane just kept on flying around til it crashed

Years ago, I was in a bar in south Florida. An older (retired) gentleman was solo at the bar. He told me he worked in the airline industry, though never specified, and from there we discussed aircrafts including my amateur interest. We spoke a solid hour, he told me he preferred the L-1011’s to all commercial airplanes but thought the DC-10 was the “ugliest” plane made. I enjoyed the conversation. He mentioned this Schiavo person and not in pleasant terms but her shameful correction to Hannity tonight was a simple reminder of how her conceit is apparent.

That is likely. I tend to think horrific failure and some pilot error or evil intentions....or shot down like the 1983 Korean Air Lines Flight 007 shoot down...

Hypoxia may have affected the passenger cabin as it is known the plane went above 45,000 ft.

If this was a planned takeover, the cockpit would have prepared for it.

My guess is that plane is down in Indonesia somewhere.

The United States will NEVER share her military knowledge to where this plane is without a joint international assessment.

Right now that may still be in play among others.
Imagine you were a devout muslim pilot and your
religion offered you a hundred million to deliver
a 777 to them some where? That’s a possibliity.
Another is that some how they were able to ship
an electronic device that would jam communications
and spoof the GPS to fly over the Indian ocean.

I’m not sayin it was Space Aliens...
But it was Space Aliens.

Conspiracy 101.

Reminds me of the scene in the movie Airplane! where the point/counterpoint guest mocked the passengers for buying tickets. He comment was so out of place, so inappropriate for the time. I have read newspaper columnists mention a hypothetical boss as "She" and "Her." I guess Mary would be upset at that since bosses can be male and female. Nah, my guess is that wouldn't disturb her.
