Missing MH370: Investigators Conclude Plane Was Hijacked, AP Reports
Malaysia Star ^ | Saturday March 15, 2014

Posted on 03/14/2014 9:43:30 PM PDT by nickcarraway

According to the Associated Press, a Malaysian government official has confirmed that investigators have concluded that one of the pilots or someone else with flying experience hijacked the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370.

The official, who is involved in the investigation, says no motive has been established and it is not yet clear where the plane was taken.

AP is reporting that the official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to brief the media. The official said that hijacking was no longer a theory: “It is conclusive.”

The aircraft’s communication with the ground was severed under one hour into its flight on March 8 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

No ELTs, equals no crash of any type.
That aircraft landed somewhere.

“That aircraft landed somewhere.”

Maybe

Or ..... “The southern Indian Ocean, where investigators suspect missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 may have come down, is one place where a commercial airliner can crash without a ship spotting it, a radar plotting it or even a satellite picking it up.”
“The Indian Ocean, the world’s third largest, has an average depth of about 3600 metres”

I believe I read that the ELT is made to withstand depths of 600 meters.

We’ll have to wait & see.

It takes more than three seconds to go from the surface of the water to 2,000 feet deep.
The ELT starts pinging as soon as it feels a sudden jar of a certain G-force or if it gets wet.
We would have a satellite location if it happened, even over the Indian Ocean.

They wouldn’t need a non-traceable plane for a local EMP or frank nuclear attack. There wouldn’t be any surviving serialized parts of an airframe that had a nuke go off in the cargo hold.

Whatever evil is planned, the planners expect that there could be enough of the 777 left to identify it.

Perhaps a MASSIVE nerve gas attack down the Bos-Wash corridor? Slam-a-dam at the AllSpark? Or?

As Boeing is negotiation to legally sell spare parts to Iran, it is extremely unlikely that this was a way to get other spare parts.

Then (after all ... it's just speculation) they'd have to get the VX back, that Iraq sent to Syria.

No, I still believe they're after nukes, either the new ones from Iran, or the old ones under Pakistan's control.

Interesting tidbit you linked to.
I just want to know WHERE Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 landed.

Any thoughts?

Well, I THINK it landed in deep water.

I do WORRY about other potential destinations.

huh? Who is "they" in this context? Are you saying Iraq is the destination?

No, I still believe they're after nukes, either the new ones from Iran, or the old ones under Pakistan's control.

It may well be, but a one way, nuke set off in the plane mission would not require an untraceable plane. One cannot read the serial numbers off of metal vapor.

The FACT is that the last know and verifiable position of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was on

Jet Route P628 Northwest to (http://skyvector.com/ on World Hi Chart) Port Blair (VOPB) Navaid
WHERE do you THINK they were going ~ on that Jet Route P628 Northwest bound?

The link opens a map centered on my current location, I am unable to answer your question as I don't have a clue what Jet Route P628 Northwest is.

"They" ~ is the Muslim Terrorists who will have control of that aircraft.

When you open up that map, enlarge it to the world view, then select "World Hi" and focus in on Malaysia and Indonesia to the west side,
and enlarge until you can read the numbers of the Jet Routes.
Find P628 and follow it northwest bound.

They were headed to Port Blair?

Why would “they” need to involve two more countries, Syria and Iraq in the plot?

Anyone skilled in the art of making pesticides can adapt those skills to WMD agents.

Its not like we haven’t trained tens of thousand of muslims in our chemical engineering schools since 9/11!

"OVER" Port Blair Navaid is more accurate.

I just guessing ~ based on the known chemical weapons.

*shug* It's where P628 ends. Thought I'd pull your chain a little...

My guess, assuming it's not in the bottom of a muddy waterlogged crater in the Mekong delta, is it's in Pakistan.

Just because obama has been systematically murdering Pakistanis on Pakistani soil using drones controlled from US soil does not give Pakistan the right to nuke a drone control center on US soil.

Interesting perspective.

Let's go off the deep end for a second and alternative version, even though the last known position of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 does NOT agree with this scenario.
First, I don't believe this story.
BUT with the ILLEGAL ALIEN IN CHIEF running things, I wouldn't put it in the "NOT POSSIBLE" file just yet.

WHY go to the trouble ( ? )

What do you think of this?
It looks like an overall summary of what's been discussed here at Free Republic dot com.

But what is of use to me is this statement towards the end of his article. Now take that information and the arc ping map (important to view this map at this link for more details) along with the jet route map, and you can find possible links.
We find BISHKEK MANAS, Kyrgyzstan and Manas has a 13,800-foot long runway, built for Soviet bombers. That led to some interesting possibilities.

I don't think that's conclusive. Air France 447 crashed into the ocean and wasn't found for nearly two years, by side-scan sonar, and only because they had a (relatively) good idea where it was, from the previously spotted floating debris field.

Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast would be okay, as long as you didn't give up primary radar.

A perfect example of WHY isan "Air Traffic Control Kill" in 1987 at Kunsan AB, ROK, when a controller had his primary turned down too low and had no "grass" on his D-Brite with a very low ceiling. He ASSUMED the flight of two F-16s on final, 1 mile in trail, had it's transponder code on the lead aircraft (which was actually on the second aircraft). After a flight of 2 F-16s landed and was rolling out on the runway to exit, he assumed he had enough space between them and the flight on final that he could launch another flight of 2 F-16s for takeoff. He put the flight of 2 F=16s into position and hold on the runway and was watching the flight on landing roll, waiting for them to exit the runway. Before the second one exited the runway, there was a loud explosion at the approach end of the runway where the 2 F-16s had been waiting for takeoff clearance. The lead F-16 of the flight of 2 on final had broken out of the low ceiling in a flair and not seen the 2 F-16s on the runway waiting for takeoff clearance, and was on RAPCON's frequency and not Towers'. Of course the second F-16 on final was sent around.

Interesting to hear that take on that 1993 accident at Kunsan. The pilot that survived (crashed into the departing F-16 that was at 88 knots) was promoted to O-6 in 2009, despite the fact that he was slammed for continuing that approach without sufficient cues in the accident report.

But back to topic, ADS is in widespread use now, one of the greatest aids to ATC ever. It's not used as a replacement for conventional transponders or radar. Everyone still has transponders with mode C. ADS enables ATC to keep continuous contact via SATCOM link overwater, like a normal transponder under radar coverage over land. Problem is, not quite everyone has it (I don't think Vietnam does, I need to check on that) so coverage is still a little spotty. So when I hear the media say they lost ACARS and lost their transponder, I wonder if they just weren't crossing the FIR into Vietnam airspace, ops normal, and the ADS disconnected (as it should). As for the transponder, at some point away from Malaysia the transponder will be out of range, the same as if it were turned off. Normally crews change the transponder code to a common code 30 minutes after the coast-out fix anyway, with the assumption that they're out of range.

CPDLC, similar take on that, gets pilots (except for backup) off the HF, no voice reports, best thing since squelch for the HF radios!

I, like you, do not believe the story about Maersk. It is a typical Russian propaganda story. Unfortunately, it seems to have a tragic component. http://wtkr.com/2014/03/05/source-video-shows-maersk-alabama-contractors-on-the-town-before-deaths/
