Evidence of a plot by Malaysian Islamists to hijack a passenger jet in a 9/11-style attack is being investigated in connection with the disappearance of Flight MH370

An al-Qaeda supergrass told a court last week that four to five Malaysian men had been planning to take control of a plane, using a bomb hidden in a shoe to blow open the cockpit door.

Guess we have a new name for terrorists now. Drudge headline calls the pilot a “Political Fanatic”.

I heard a pilot with 30 years experience and well qualified to fly a 777 say that plane could have made that “6 to 7 hour flight”, including all the turns and changes in altitude, by itself with the pilots incapacitated.

What would be the motivation to let the captain live?

So why did the missing 777 go to 40,000 feet??? Because the Pilot Oxygen Mask is rated to 40,000. The passenger masks only to 25,000 feet.
This is the system supplier to the Boeing 777...

So we go to 40K feet. Depressurize. Masks Drop. Everybody dies anyway. Now back down to 25,000 and off for 8 hours of quiet flying to.... somewhere.

They could bump him off. Maybe he could be of use for an insurgency depending on who is behind this.

I worked for a large airline in IT (tracked crew certifications). Most of the pilots I worked with loved playing with various flight sim software/games. Many truly LOVE to fly. And the software gives them a chance to “fly” different aircraft and to unique airports. This is not uncommon and means nothing.

The supergrass said that he had met the Malaysian jihadists – one of whom was a pilot – in Afghanistan and given them a shoe bomb to use to take control of an aircraft.

Am I the only person who doesn't know what a 'supergrass' is - or why a person would be called that?

James Healy-Pratt, head of aviation at Stuarts Law solicitors, said the lack of information from Malaysian authorities was in stark contrast to the reaction of French officials when an Air France plane – whose black box was not recovered for two years – crashed in the Atlantic in 2009. The lack of information suggested Malaysian authorities may have something to hide.

Mr Healy-Pratt, who represented 50 families in the Air France crash, said: “Compared to Air France there has been very little information given out. Serious questions need to be asked about how this has taken a week to get so little information. If it is terrorism that will have an effect on the Malaysian stock market and local economy.”

Lots of strange twists with this one..

“Supergrass” is British slang for a snitch - an informer.

Plus the o2 generators only last for a specific time, its not like a system of oxygen tanks throughout the plane.
Last I heard that time frame was 8 minutes.
Pilots get pressurized o2, at over 25,000 feet from what little I know you need it at a higher pressure as your lungs just cannot expand enough, but what do I know, I’m sure an expert knows more.

Pilot encouraged / invited others to take part in his home simulations.

Pilot, copilot, flight engineer, and steward are all now suspect.

Steward had his own flight simulator also.

What kinds of data points / simulations were made on these simulator computer?

Pilot affiliated with anti-government foes.

Pilot family leaves town 24-hours before incident.

“Coded” message sent verbally after system shutdowns = code to let those on ground know progress being made as planned.

Programed turn input early.

Government owns the airline.

Bureaucrats covering their rears.

“New info” is being spoon-fed daily.

Malaysia = hotbed of anti-west miscreants.

We are not ‘supposed’ to profile people, but . . .

“Terrorists” accomplishing their mission of ‘creating terror’ just by hijacking the plane.

People and countries freaking out over dirty bombs, nukes, EMP’s.

?Just a heist to steal a valuable cargo?

?Just a hijack to kidnap a valuable passenger?

?Just a diversion for the media to steer away from other significant events? . . Ukraine, North Korea, Iran, Middle-East, money-markets, Other?

?A practice-run for future and upcoming mass hijackings?

The “Axis-Of_Evil” in action?

Dr. Watson, I fear Evil is afoot!

True that.
But it couldn't disable the transponder and unscrew the ceiling panel to disable the GPS tracking system.

This was a premeditated first act in a longer drama.

The passengers were all immediately killed and the plane flew on below radar on purpose.

“But it couldn’t disable the transponder and unscrew the ceiling panel to disable the GPS tracking system.”

Unless there was some type of electrical problem such as a short and maybe a fire.

If you have ever flown, worked on, flown on, looked at a picture of a 777, you too can now be an expert!!!

Hundreds of hours of “experts” saying “I don’t know

Tired of a lot of “reporters” and other talking heads, who don’t know anything and are guessing, interviewing all manner of “experts” who are guessing and don’t know anything

I’m actually intrigued by this theory. Militant queer terrorist decides he wants some payback on the Malaysian government and the Chinese who also don’t have his warped marriage theory. I would not put it past them.

Not too likely. Most of the passengers were pliable Chinese, not bold Americans. Besides, a jet with Malaysian Air livery was reportedly spotted by islanders at Maldives, southwest of the southern tip of India.
