The reality is that these 7th century barbarians have been marrying 6-8 year old girls for centuries and they are not about to stop now.
The gist of the article was that instead of marrying at 16 girls are actually still being married off much younger. Its a disgusting practice but then they are a disgusting culture and its mostly due to the theology of Islam which tells them this stuff is OK.
