this makes no sense to me....amd I missing something>
"Oklahoma and other states that have the death penalty have been scrambling for substitute drugs or new sources for drugs for lethal injections after major drugmakers — many based in Europe with longtime opposition to the death penalty — stopped selling to prisons and corrections departments"
who ARE they selling the poison to.... DHS???

Seriously, their state legislature should make a quick law authorizing a firing squad. Problem solved.

Didn’t the libs give us the solution in the Terri Schiavo incident? Starving is humane and even euphoric.

A syringe of Black Leaf 40 works well.

The Cherokees used to execute their criminals by standing them in front of a tree, blindfold them and pin a paper heart over the heart. Then a Cherokee firing squad would do the job.

Then there is the way Hanging Judge Parker did it in Fort Smith.

Nitrogen Asphyxiation - Strap in the condemned, put on a brain wave reading device, apply a breathing mask at 1.1 atmospheres. When the time comes for the execution to be carried out, switch the airflow to 99% nitrogen. Then all you have to do is wait for the brain waves to go flat.

cheap (nitrogen makes up over 70% of the atmosphere) No pain, no mess, condemned goes to sleep and never wakes up.

Certainly the state has confiscated illegal drugs like meth, heroin, crack etc. Why not put these drugs to good use? It would be hard to make an argument about them being cruel and inhumane as thousands of addicts are willing to do almost anything to get them.

Sound about right to me.

Give them each two grams of heroin, and a hooker dressed as a hot nurse with the hardware to deliver it. It seems to work pretty well when killing off Hollywood’s finest.
