Fmr. Gen. Doubles Down on Claim Malaysian Plane Could Be in Pakistan to Be Used for Terror

Appearing on Fox & Friends last week, retired United States Air Force Gen. Thomas McInerney speculated that the missing Malaysian passenger airliner had been intentionally flown to South Asia where it could be used as a delivery vehicle for conventional or nuclear explosives by terrorist actors. On Tuesday, McInerney repeated that claim and said that the recent actions of the Israeli and American governments lent credence to that theory.

If it has been in Pakistan for eight days, it probably won’t be there much longer.

Where do you hide one of these planes? You would need a helluva hangar. Are there a lot of those in the Taliban controlled areas of Pakistan?

I ask because I honestly do not know.

And if it’s in Pakistan, I would guess that we know where it is, and that drones are waiting for it to move an inch before a hellfire is shot up its 6.

If the aircraft is in Pakistan, our spies ought to check out the luxury resorts there where the passengers might have been put up.

It’s in Islamabad.

No, it’s in the Uighur Republic.

No, it’s in South India.

No, it’s in Rangoon.

No, it’s in Ecuador.

Wait a minute, I heard someone saw it in Mali!

Lots of very interesting speculation but... where is it, really?

A girl in tight jeans can carry a dime in her pocket, and we have satellites that can read if it’s heads or tails from outer space, so... where’s the airplane?

Lots of reasons this is looking better as a theory:

USS Kidd is leaving the Indian Ocean search (what does US know? Definitely more than they are saying.).
Catherine Herridge reporting tonight that for the first time, a source told her directly that there is NO evidence that the plane crashed.
ELTs have not gone off.
Obviously, there was intent from the beginning of the flight to make this turn and take it off course.
Efforts were made to ‘go dark’ by shutting off transponder & ACARS ... indicating the plane was being taken somewhere & the pilot(s), whoever was at the controls, didn’t want it tracked.
Not buying pilot suicide - believe that would have happened sooner and probably on the original route.
Not buying the ‘hostage’ situation ... after 11 days, somebody would have been making ransom demands or saying something - plus, 230+ people are a lot to deal with.
Not buying major airplane malfunction with the new info on the lat/long change programmed into the airplane’s FMS.

Now the General pops up with this - curioser & curioser. Would love for a last unreported “ping” as mentioned in this article to show up from a reliable source.

Apparently our analysts are too busy looking at nice butts to look for planes where they shouldn’t be. Well, who can blame them?

Fmr. Gen. Doubles Down on Claim Malaysian Plane Could Be in Pakistan ... McInerney said that the recent actions of the American government lent credence to that theory.

And what actions would that be -- committing ships and planes to a search area off the southwest coast of Australia???

Has Pakistan moved recently and we don't know about it???

Is this why Mr Former is former?

If you are referring to LtGen McInerney as "Mr. Former" the you should read his Air Force bio. He had a very distinguished career and rose to the military's second highest rank. Retired senior generals and admirals (three and four stars) are never completely out of the loop, and there are plenty of serving officers in McInerney's orbit. He is certainly credible.

Qiviut, your logical progression makes sense. Given the facts known, the idea of pilot suicide is not logical. I highly suspect that the plane is in the hands of bad guys and the passengers are dead.

There’s no need to steal the plane to deliver weapons.

A better question is who on the plane was worth kidnapping, if anyone. It’s a Chinese - Malaysian flight. Was a Chinese general fighting the Urgyurs or billionaire on the plane? A Western general? A major government official? An NGO group that can be blamed for XYZ?

Thank you for your informative post. I was kidding of course, and I apologize for being flippant.

Still, in the end how credible any of the countless experts appearing in the media are will decide the final resolution (if any.)

LtGen McInerney didn't specify what actions we have taken, nor should he. He did indicate as others have that Israel is taking extra precautions to defend against an attack involving this new "extra" 777. As for committing ships and planes to a phony search, I would point out that such ruses are routinely employed to shield real interests and actions elsewhere.
